Student answer (Band 5.0)

In modern times, the issue of house change to a bulid to tall appartments has become highly controversial.I partly agree with to less place and protect and buliding bondings .

On the one hand , to construction a tall blocks in city to save place to agriculture field and encourage to farming .

Recent years many farmers faced and loss it their lands it is becoming a big issue in future. For example who are in interesting to the farming upcoming generations to leave the some amount of the land to and the forming like some type of fruits and vegetables it is very useful to future without any food related issues.

On the another hand , tall buildings give a some financial stability compared to the individual houses because the tall building house inside definitely drop the some ways and compare to individual houses . For example in a daily worker cannot pay high amount of rentals in big cities it compared to the tall buildings they are less amount of paying entrance and their able to build their burnings with others and it is very useful to communicate with others also reducing hair pollution and also provide good health everyone it is set an amount of the benefits to the get people are in tall buildings. But people are miss there freedoms in individual houses that is the only key point to they miss.

In conclusion, I agree large and tall apartments give more comfortable and build the bondings also place and air pollution.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You present a partly agreeing position and give reasons related to preserving land for farming, affordability, social connection and pollution. These points are relevant to housing in large cities, and the examples about future generations and daily workers show an attempt to support your view. However, the position is not consistently clear: the opening is difficult to interpret, and the conclusion lists benefits without explaining how far you agree. Several ideas are also under-developed or unclear, particularly the claim that tall buildings reduce pollution and the point about residents losing freedom. Explain the links between each reason and the need to provide enough homes, and develop one or two examples more fully so the response addresses the question more directly.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The response has an introduction, two body paragraphs presenting contrasting points, and a conclusion, so there is some recognisable organisation. Phrases such as “On the one hand,” “On the another hand,” and “In conclusion” help signal the intended structure. However, progression within paragraphs is difficult to follow because several ideas are joined together without clear relationships. For example, the second body paragraph moves from affordability to communication, pollution, health and personal freedom in one long sequence. Some linking expressions are inaccurate or repetitive, and references such as “it” and “they” do not always make clear which people or buildings are meant. Use shorter, focused paragraphs and connect each supporting example explicitly to its main point.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “financial stability,” “individual houses,” “agriculture field,” and “air pollution.” These choices show an effort to discuss housing, land use and community effects. However, the range is limited and many word choices, collocations and spellings make the meaning difficult to understand. Examples include “house change,” “buliding bondings,” “drop the some ways,” and “hair pollution”; the intended meanings are not reliably clear. Repetition of “tall buildings” and “useful” also limits precision. Build a bank of accurate topic phrases, such as “high-rise apartments,” “housing affordability,” and “preserve farmland,” and check spelling and collocation before using less familiar expressions.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt some longer sentences and use basic structures to express contrast and give examples. However, the range is limited, and complex sentences are often faulty, which sometimes makes the intended meaning hard to follow. For instance, “For example who are in interesting to the farming upcoming generations…” lacks a clear grammatical structure, while “a daily worker cannot pay high amount of rentals” has problems with articles and sentence construction. There are also frequent issues with agreement, plurals, prepositions and punctuation, including the opening run-on sentence and inconsistent spacing around commas. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then combine them with controlled clauses using “because,” “which” and “although.”
