Student answer (Band 5.5)
The best measure to give people with sufficient housholds in bigger cities is to develop tall apartment blocks. I agree with this as this can be helpful to reside them because of growing population in big cities. I don't like it as this causes limited space for outdoor activities for children.
In larger cities, tall apartments blocks can help more people accomodate as population is increasing on daily basis. Each buildings contains many numbers of apartments with facilities so the people can complete their daily tasks. Every apartment contains kitchen, living room and muliple bed rooms. People can select the apartment from the options and according to their family. For example, In Karachi the development of apartments has been increased to accomodate the increasing population of the city.
Kids require the outdoor space to enjoy and do outdoor activities. Mostly apartments do not have the enough spacious balcony which can help their children enjoy their time doing activities. At home they can have option of the attached garden where they can spend time by dwelling themself in different kind of activities. For example, majority of the apartments have less outdoodr space as compare to the houses in major cities.
In conlusion, the development of the tall buildings is best way to build enough homes in largers cities. I believe this will help people in accomodating large number of people in bigger cities. In my view, this can also be bad for the kids as this will limit the outdoor space for them.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
Your position is partly clear: you support tall apartment blocks as a way to house growing urban populations, while also noting a disadvantage for children. The Karachi example is relevant, and you explain that one building can contain many apartments and facilities. However, the response does not fully resolve the question of whether this is the best way to provide enough homes: the opening says both “I agree” and “I don't like it,” without clarifying the extent of your agreement. The concern about outdoor space is relevant but not directly compared with other housing approaches or developed into a clear qualification of your position. State your degree of agreement consistently, then explain why the housing benefit outweighs—or does not outweigh—the drawback.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for the housing benefit and the effect on children, and a conclusion. This helps the reader follow the main points. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes unclear: the discussion moves from apartment facilities to room lists and then to choosing an apartment, without showing how these details support the central argument. Linking phrases such as “For example” are used, but the examples are not always fully connected to the claim they are meant to support. The conclusion repeats the main points rather than resolving the mixed position in the introduction. Use clearer topic sentences and explain the relationship between each example and your argument.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “population,” “apartments,” “facilities,” and “outdoor activities,” so the subject is generally understandable. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate, sometimes making meaning awkward: “give people with sufficient households,” “accommodate” used for people, and “dwelling themself in different kind of activities” are examples. Spelling errors such as “housholds,” “muliple,” and “conlusion” also reduce accuracy. Aim for natural phrases such as “provide enough housing,” “house a growing population,” and “take part in activities.” Check spelling and use a dictionary or collocation resource to confirm how new vocabulary is used.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You communicate the main ideas using simple sentences and some attempts at longer structures, such as “because of growing population in big cities.” However, the range of sentence forms is limited, and errors occur frequently enough to make some sentences difficult to interpret. For example, “Each buildings contains many numbers of apartments” has problems with agreement and sentence construction, while “the development of apartments has been increased” uses an incorrect verb form. Articles and plurals are also inconsistent, as in “the enough spacious balcony” and “different kind of activities.” Practise building accurate sentences with subordinate clauses, and check subject–verb agreement, articles, and singular/plural forms before submitting.
