Student answer (Band 5.0)

Nowadays, Everyone has significant approach towards to build homes. Cities are already occupied by the extended populations, so to provide homes to people we need to build high rise buildings.

On one hand, my friend recently shifted to Karachi he has been struggling to find home in their budget, houses are expensive. Almost every apartment is booked or rent out, in which reason he booked a apartment in new building. Big cities are over populated

At the same time, Everyone needs shelter for their families and urban cities have more employment than rural areas. So the people come and also want their family to live besides them and cities infrastructure is not design or planed like this to provide home to every body.

On the other hand, i want now government design the big cities to estimated population also design enough tall building to give homes, honestly i like tall building my friend has been living in Emaar since very long, Whenever i visited her place the sunset the view always mesmerise me and abate my depression. i also want to book apartment in tall building mostly are booked, Most of the time i 'm facing this issue .

On my opinion, i agree that large cities should provide enough houses in which extend. they need to build big building because of the population and people migration to this cities are increasing day by day to provide them shelter so they can live with their families happily and support them

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You give a relevant, clear overall view that you agree tall buildings can help house growing urban populations. The references to housing costs in Karachi, migration for employment and your friend’s apartment provide some support. However, the response only partially develops the question of whether this is the best way to provide enough homes. It mainly asserts that cities need more tall buildings, without comparing this approach with alternatives or explaining its limitations, such as infrastructure, affordability or access to services. The personal account of enjoying a view is less relevant to the housing argument. Develop two or three reasons directly linked to the question and explain how each supports your position; also make your degree of agreement explicit and consistent.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5

There is some paragraphing, and phrases such as “On one hand” and “On the other hand” signal an attempt to organise contrasting points. However, the progression is difficult to follow: the first body paragraph moves from your friend’s housing search to the general claim that cities are overpopulated, while the next shifts to migration and planning without clearly connecting these ideas. The “On the other hand” paragraph does not present a clear opposing view, and the conclusion repeats the main claim rather than drawing the argument together. Some links, including “in which reason,” are unclear. Give each paragraph one main purpose, use topic sentences, and connect examples explicitly to the point they illustrate.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “over populated,” “employment,” “migration” and “shelter,” so the reader can identify the main subject. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate or unclear, such as “significant approach towards to build homes,” “booked or rent out” and “abate my depression.” Repetition of “big,” “building” and “homes” also limits precision. These issues sometimes make the intended meaning harder to understand. Build a more precise set of housing terms, such as “high-rise apartments,” “housing supply,” “affordable accommodation” and “urban infrastructure,” and check that each phrase fits its context.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and longer sentence forms, including sentences beginning “so” and “Whenever,” but complex structures are often faulty and errors occur frequently. Examples include “my friend recently shifted to Karachi he has been struggling,” which joins two clauses without suitable punctuation, and “cities infrastructure is not design or planed,” where the verb form and sentence structure are inaccurate. There are also recurring problems with articles, agreement and sentence boundaries, as in “a apartment” and “Most of the time i 'm facing this issue.” These errors can make the reader pause to interpret your meaning. Practise accurate clause joining, past and passive verb forms, and article use, then proofread capitals and punctuation.
