Student answer (Band 5.5)
I somehow agree and disagree for this perspective of building homes in lare cities is to build tall apartments.
I agree in a way that if we build tall buildings, more people will accomodate that in less area. Urbanization is around the corner globally so its the best way to shelter much poplutaion without forest logging of the city. I myself live in an apartment and felt much safer than home. Security, maintenance and other miscellaneos charges get divided among neighbours while the drawback of living in a separet home, I have to manage all alone. One of my friends livng in a separatte home, she has same income to me but have much more expenses than mine and still she felt unsafe in her own home.
I disagree for this statement because while living in an apartment building, you don't have your personal space, garden, garage and a roof top. You have to be patient and to overcome surrounding noises without complaining most of the time. If tall buildings are getting increased and huge subsequently the air pollution will be increased and everyone et confined at their place and compelled to be live in air conditioned room because of high temperature outside and no air is crossing. Apart from pooling money and less area captivated, apartment has no other advantage.
Somehow, it totally depends on person's choice. If they want to have a separate home so they can live in such a societies that offer home. If a person like to share their place with strangers and want to have connections then should go for tall buildings.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both sides of the proposal and give a personal position that apartment living can be useful but is not right for everyone. The examples about shared costs and your friend’s greater expenses are relevant, as are concerns about privacy and noise. However, the position remains somewhat uncertain: “I somehow agree and disagree” and the final paragraph leave the reader unsure whether you consider tall blocks the best way to provide enough homes. Some claims, such as increased air pollution and people being confined indoors, are asserted without explaining how they follow from building taller homes. State your overall view clearly and develop fewer reasons with specific explanation or evidence.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure: it introduces a mixed view, presents reasons for agreement and disagreement, and ends by referring to personal choice. Paragraphing helps separate these points, and phrases such as “I agree” and “I disagree” signal the direction of each section. However, the progression is not consistently clear. The opening does not establish a precise position, and the conclusion shifts to what different people may prefer rather than answering which approach best provides homes. Some links between claims are abrupt, particularly the move from tall buildings to air pollution and indoor confinement. Use a clearer thesis, connect each reason to the housing question, and make the conclusion directly summarise your judgement.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “urbanization,” “security,” “maintenance,” “personal space,” and “air pollution.” These terms help communicate the main ideas, but the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate enough to make parts difficult to interpret. For example, “accommodate that” does not clearly express that buildings can house more people, while “forest logging of the city” is not a natural way to describe avoiding urban expansion into green areas. There are also noticeable spelling errors, including “lare,” “poplutaion,” and “separet.” Build a more precise set of housing and urban-planning expressions, and check spelling and collocations during revision.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentence forms, including a comparison between your apartment and your friend’s separate home. However, control is uneven, and errors in sentence structure, verb forms, agreement, and articles sometimes make the meaning unclear. For instance, “she has same income to me but have much more expenses” has problems with the article, comparison pattern, and verb agreement; “everyone et confined” also contains an incorrect verb form. The final sentence, “If a person like to share their place … then should go,” lacks consistent agreement and a clear subject in the main clause. Practise accurate conditional sentences and comparisons, and proofread each sentence for a complete subject–verb structure.
