Student answer (Band 5.0)
Infrastructur is most important factor for every metro city. The topmost way of sufficiant homes is a highraise building where a to many people are live in a one building in large town. I totaly agree with this statment becausa of less space and high population in big citys; it is also help a individual to manage a cost of living. This will be discussed in further paragraphs.
High population in a urben area make's city smaller. general public are sifting in town for better life style and for more opportunities becuase of that demand for residence is increasing but for less land available in citycite so individuals are prefer to stay in multi home buldings which is more prefrbal for municipal mangement as well. For instance in one acere 5 bilding constcted with 500 homes where 500 faimly reside.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0
You state a clear position—“I totaly agree”—and give relevant reasons, including limited land, population growth and the possibility of managing living costs. The example of several buildings providing 500 homes also relates to the topic. However, the response addresses the question only partially: it is substantially below the required 250 words, ends after one supporting paragraph, and does not explain the cost argument or develop the example. The task asks whether tall apartment blocks are the best way to provide enough homes, but you do not consider any limitations or explain why this approach is better than alternatives. Develop each reason with explanation and a specific example, and complete the essay with a conclusion that reinforces your position.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
There is some organisation: an opening paragraph introduces your agreement, and the next paragraph gives reasons and an example. The ideas are generally related to housing in large cities, and phrases such as “because of that” attempt to show cause and effect. However, the response has no conclusion and its progression is limited; the cost point introduced in the opening is not taken up in the body. Some connections are unclear, particularly the shift from population growth to municipal management. Use a clear sequence of paragraphs—position, one developed reason per paragraph, and conclusion—and connect each example explicitly to the claim it supports. Check that linking phrases express the intended relationship accurately.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt topic-related vocabulary, including “population,” “residence,” “opportunities,” “multi home buildings” and “municipal management,” so the reader can identify the general subject. However, the range is limited and several spelling and word-choice errors make parts difficult to understand, such as “sufficiant,” “highraise,” “citycite” and “prefrbal.” Some combinations are also unnatural, including “a to many people are live” and “manage a cost of living.” Choose accurate, familiar expressions before attempting more ambitious vocabulary, and check spelling carefully. For example, “high-rise apartment buildings” and “accommodate many residents” would express your central idea more naturally and precisely.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You make an effort to use both simple statements and longer cause-and-effect sentences, for example, “general public are sifting in town for better life style … because of that demand for residence is increasing.” However, the range remains limited, and frequent errors in sentence structure, agreement, articles and verb forms can make meaning difficult to follow. Examples include “a to many people are live,” “High population … make's city smaller,” and “500 faimly reside.” Practise building accurate basic sentences first: “A high population makes cities more crowded” and “500 families live there.” Then add one clause at a time, checking subject–verb agreement, articles and punctuation.
