Student answer (Band 5.0)

It argued that the better way to provide required amount of homes in the metropolitian cities is to constract tall building where many families can live together without occupying large land scape. I agree to a large extent, although it has certain benefits, it create disturbances across individuals.

One of the most significant advantages is that it helps to improve country's economy. Firstly, when homes were provided in the apartment for the people in cities, then it offers many acres of free land in that area for the government to construct many IT companies and new infrastructure. Consequently, it promotes employement oppurtunites for unemploye's which helps to promote the economy. For example, multinational companies need large workforce to run their business successfully, so they hire many works for the required positions.Hence, leaving some space for organizations enhance finacial status of the country.

Another advanatage is that flexibility. If people live in an individual house then they need to commute to the markets to purchase the household untilites. Nevertheless, apartmants offers all those facilities in the ground floor so individuals can buy the required things easily any time without the need of travelling to far distance. For example, pupil who survive in the home should go to street market for purchasing vegetables. But, people in gated community can easily buy at any time in their appartment store market. Therefore, it provides easy access to purchase the product.

However, despite its advantages, it also has certain drawbacks. The most significant disadvantage is disturbances. In apartment pupil's

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You state a position—“I agree to a large extent”—and give relevant reasons, including land efficiency and convenient access to shops in apartment buildings. However, the response only partially develops the task: the economic argument shifts from providing homes to using land for companies, and the connection between tall blocks and creating enough housing is not fully explained. The second reason focuses on ground-floor facilities rather than directly showing why high-rise construction is the best way to meet housing demand. The discussion of drawbacks begins with “disturbances,” but the response ends before explaining this point or clarifying how it affects your overall position. Develop each reason with a clear link to the question and complete the counterargument.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two advantage paragraphs and the start of a drawback paragraph. Sequencing words such as “Firstly,” “Consequently,” “Another advantage” and “However” help signal the direction of the discussion. Nevertheless, progression is uneven: the first body paragraph moves from apartments to free land, then to employment and the economy, without consistently showing how these points support the housing argument. Some links are mechanical, particularly the repeated “Therefore” and “For example” patterns. The final paragraph is incomplete, so the opposing point is not integrated into the overall argument. Organise each paragraph around one main claim, explain it in a logical sequence, and finish the discussion before concluding.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You attempt topic-related vocabulary, including “metropolitan cities,” “infrastructure,” “multinational companies” and “gated community,” and the reader can generally identify your intended meaning. However, spelling and word-choice errors are frequent enough to make some phrases difficult to interpret, as in “metropolitian,” “constract,” “employement oppurtunites” and “household untilites.” Several expressions are also unnatural or imprecise: “many works” for employees, “pupil who survive in the home,” and “appartment store market.” These issues limit the precision of your vocabulary even when the underlying idea is relevant. Check spelling carefully and learn common collocations for housing, employment and urban services; choose straightforward accurate wording when unsure.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, using clauses introduced by “when,” “so” and “although.” However, complex structures are often faulty, and errors occur frequently enough to affect clarity. For example, “although it has certain benefits, it create disturbances” has a subject–verb agreement error and an unclear contrast; “when homes were provided … then it offers” shifts tense and has an awkward clause structure. There are also problems with articles, plurals and sentence boundaries, as in “in the apartment” and “required positions.Hence.” The final fragment, “In apartment pupil’s,” leaves a sentence unfinished. Practise building complete sentences with consistent tense and agreement, and proofread punctuation and sentence endings.
