Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 3.5

The response is only minimally focused on the question. It mentions building tall apartment blocks and offers some related planning ideas, such as conducting research, preparing a map, and developing infrastructure, but it does not clearly state whether you agree or disagree that high-rise construction is the best way to provide homes. The ideas are also not explained with reasons or relevant examples, so the reader cannot see why this approach would be effective or what its limitations might be. The response is substantially below the required 250 words, which leaves the task largely undeveloped. To improve, state your position directly, explain two relevant reasons, and support them with specific examples or comparisons with other housing options.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0

There is a basic attempt to organise the response: the opening introduces housing, and the following paragraphs discuss research, infrastructure, and planning. This gives the reader a general sense of the topics you want to cover. However, the ideas do not progress into a clear argument, and several sentences read as disconnected instructions rather than connected explanations. For example, “On the basis of research and get the proper data” does not link grammatically or logically to the preceding sentence. The repeated use of “proper” also makes the progression feel repetitive. Build a clear sequence—position, reason, explanation, example—and use linking phrases to show how each point supports your view.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “quantitative research,” “infrastructure,” “civil engineering,” and “housing scheme,” which shows an attempt to discuss urban development beyond very basic terms. However, the range is limited, and several phrases are inaccurate or unnatural, making parts of the meaning difficult to follow. For instance, “large housing facility” and “tall buildings blocks apartment” are not natural ways to describe the proposed housing, while “control population” does not clearly express the likely idea of managing overcrowding. Spelling is also inaccurate in “initatied.” Aim for precise collocations and vary repeated words such as “proper”; this will make your ideas clearer and more appropriate for an academic essay.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

The response attempts a few longer structures, including “while working professionals specialised in civil engineering…” and “than only we can provide…,” but these are not formed as complete, accurate sentences. Several fragments appear, such as “On the basis of research and get the proper data” and “Proper meeting needs to be conducted,” and the opening sentence lacks a clear grammatical structure. There are also problems with articles, plurals, and sentence construction, as in “building tall apartment” and “tall buildings blocks apartment.” These errors often make the intended relationships between ideas unclear. Practise writing complete subject–verb sentences first, then combine them using accurate clauses and connectors; check articles and singular/plural forms during revision.
