Student answer (Band 5.5)
The significant path of providing considerable homes in huge urban areas is to constructe tall apartment blocks.I am agree with that because in huge cities the housing is the main problem of many families. While some people are also argue that it can make many problems.
In the modern world the most of the people have the issue of housing they do not have space to constructe there house. The apartment is the the good thing for this families they have there own house to live peacefully. Also, by this the people have great relation with each other when a large number of families live in the same apartment buliding. For intance, the chaina facilitate there citizen with apartment of the same design where they can live in equlity and have great relation with other families.
Some people are also argue that this is not a solution of this proble because they think when many people live at the same place they have more chance of being dieseas than the person living at there place and they do not have the rights to enjoy there life because they have to keep in mind the busy life of other. For examplen, if a family have a party at home they do not play music loudly because they are disterbing others by this they have to maintain al the things.
In conclusion, the constructing huge buildings are the best way to give home to a homeless person although they have to compromise on various things when they are living in an apartment.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
Your position is identifiable: you agree that tall apartment blocks are an effective way to provide homes, while acknowledging possible disadvantages. You also give relevant supporting points, including limited space in cities and the need to consider neighbours when living in shared buildings. However, the response addresses the question only partially because it does not explain why apartment blocks are the best way compared with other housing approaches. Several claims are also under-developed: the point about China is unclear, and the discussion of disease does not explain how apartment living causes greater risk. Develop each main reason with a clear explanation and a specific, relevant example, and make your degree of agreement explicit throughout rather than relying mainly on the conclusion.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs presenting advantages and concerns, and a conclusion. This gives the reader a basic route through your ideas. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes difficult to follow, and links between claims are mechanical or unclear. For example, “Also, by this” does not clearly identify what benefit is being added, while “For intance” introduces an example that does not clearly support the claim about equality and relationships. The contrast between your agreement and the disadvantages could also be signposted more precisely. Use topic sentences that state each paragraph’s main point, then connect explanations and examples with clear references and logical transitions.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “housing,” “apartment blocks,” “families,” and “compromise,” so the main subject is generally understandable. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate, sometimes making meaning difficult to interpret. Examples include “significant path” for a method, “considerable homes,” “the housing is the main problem,” and “facilitate there citizen with apartment.” Spelling errors such as “constructe,” “buliding,” “equlity,” and “dieseas” also reduce clarity. Aim for precise, natural phrases and check spelling carefully. Reusing accurate expressions such as “provide affordable housing” and “high-rise apartment buildings” would be more effective than forcing less familiar wording.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including a contrast introduced by “While” and a conditional example beginning “if a family…”. However, the range is limited, and errors occur frequently in sentence construction, verb forms, agreement, articles, and punctuation. For instance, “I am agree” should be “I agree,” and “Some people are also argue” should be “Some people also argue.” In “the most of the people have the issue,” the article and phrasing are faulty; “a family have” also has subject–verb disagreement. Several sentences run together without appropriate punctuation, such as the opening sentence. Practise building accurate sentences first, then add subordinate clauses and check each sentence’s subject and verb.
