Student answer (Band 5.5)
To facilitate individuals with their homes in cities the best way is to build tall building appartments. Yes definitly i second that with this opinion.
Many people like to live in separete house because they feel comfotable in privacy but many individuals prefer to live in tall building apartments.
In my precpective tall building appartments are more preferable to live in cities.
On one hand, nowadays population of cities increases day by day, which creat shortage of land for people. In this case high rise buildings are best way to provide individuals their homes in small area. Tall building appartments are very benficial like people sharing same parking place electricity, water supplies and other many more. For instance, our country in Lahore and Karachi these are vey croweded cities and their are insufficiat land for people seperate house, So most of them preper to live in appartments. Moreover, its cheaper then own houses.
Secondly, these building constracted near to work places, school and offices dua to this people enjoy their life style . In addition people feel comfortable around living in trust worthy neighbour.
However, tall building appartments also have some disadventages.if people live in same building it can cause trafic congestionand put pressure on water supplies and electricity. Therefore, many famlies preper to live in private houses with thier on garden.
To sum up, i largly agree tall building appartments are best way to provide many families their house in big cities. Nevertheless, government should combine the planning also make small house for people.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
Your position is clear: you agree that tall apartment blocks are the best way to provide homes in large cities, and you give relevant reasons, including limited land, shared facilities and lower cost. The examples of Lahore and Karachi help connect the argument to real urban conditions. You also acknowledge disadvantages such as pressure on utilities and traffic, then suggest that governments combine apartment construction with smaller houses. However, the discussion is only partly developed: the benefits are asserted more than explained, and the disadvantages are not clearly weighed against your main position. Explain why high-rise housing is preferable to other solutions and develop your final recommendation to make the response more complete and convincing.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, supporting paragraphs, a counterpoint and a conclusion. Sequencing phrases such as “On one hand,” “Secondly,” “However” and “To sum up” help signal the stages of your argument. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes unclear: the point about trustworthy neighbours, for example, is added without showing how it supports the case for providing enough homes. Some links are mechanical, and the opening repeats the same preference in several sentences. Use clearer topic sentences and connect each example explicitly to the paragraph’s main claim; also make the relationship between the disadvantages and your overall agreement more precise.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “shortage of land,” “high rise buildings,” “parking place,” “water supplies” and “traffic congestion.” These choices make the subject understandable, but the range is limited and several phrases are inaccurate or unnatural, which sometimes makes the reader work to interpret your meaning. For example, “facilitate individuals with their homes” and “sharing same parking place electricity” do not express the intended ideas naturally. Spelling errors such as “appartments,” “croweded” and “insufficiat” are also noticeable. Build a more accurate set of collocations for housing and urban planning, and check spelling and word forms carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including a relative clause in “population of cities increases day by day, which creat shortage of land” and a conditional structure in “if people live in same building it can cause…”. However, complex attempts are often faulty, and frequent errors in sentence structure, articles, agreement and punctuation can make parts difficult to follow. For example, “the best way is to build tall building appartments” lacks a clear grammatical construction, while “these are vey croweded cities and their are insufficiat land” contains several agreement and clause errors. Practise building accurate sentences with one main idea, then add subordinate clauses; check articles, verb forms and sentence boundaries during editing.
