Student answer (Band 5.0)
The topic of providing homes in megacities by tall apartments is a good opinion and I will explain you my opinion in following paragraphs where I'm totally disagree will this topic .
Beginning with the high costs , as we know the megacities are more likely expensive, similarly, nowadays people love to stay in cities because of the high standard living styles but as they move there , population in cities increased by which the job opportunities are becoming less . They don't have any way to maintain their expenses in this case if they have to live in those apartments they will go below the poverty line. As , the buildings will be tall then most of the people got the top floors where the old people could be troubled to go to their flat . similarly when they got the higher flats then their rents will be sky touching. As usually we know apartments are more costly than houses so they will never fullfill their basic needs .
On the other side , people who live in rural areas , when they got awared about these buildings they will start assuming it as a better lifestyle they try to buy their top floor apartments because as we know in night the megacities looks like heaven they will sold out their rural properties to just live in those flats by which they can never fullfill their needs , unable to grow . At the end the profit will only goes to the founder of those buildings and rest of the people will struggling for their expenses . More likely, in these type of situations people got depressed and they try to attempt the suicide.
Conclusion, for maintaining the financial condition of public it's not good to make high building instead of small houses . Because it can cause only loss to the local public and manipulate them .

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You state a clear disagreement in the opening and return to it in the conclusion, and your concerns about affordability and access for older residents are relevant to the question. However, the response only partially develops the argument: it focuses mainly on possible harms of tall apartments and does not explain what alternative would provide enough homes in large cities. The point about rural residents selling property and becoming depressed is asserted rather than supported with a specific example or clear causal explanation. To strengthen the response, explain why another approach—such as building medium-density housing or improving transport to outer areas—would meet housing demand more effectively, and develop each reason with a concrete example. This would make your position more fully supported and consistently clear.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has a basic paragraph structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, and the reader can identify your overall disagreement. However, progression between ideas is not always clear. The second body paragraph begins with “On the other side,” although it continues to argue against tall buildings, so the relationship between paragraphs is confusing. Several points are joined in long sentences, and connectors such as “similarly,” “as we know” and “by which” are repeated or do not clearly show the intended link. Organise each paragraph around one main reason, then explain and illustrate it in a logical order. Use linking expressions only where they accurately signal contrast, cause or addition, and make references such as “these buildings” explicit.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “population,” “job opportunities,” “poverty line,” “apartments” and “rural areas,” which helps communicate the general subject. However, the range is limited and several inaccurate or unnatural choices make parts of the argument difficult to follow, such as “a good opinion,” “high standard living styles,” “sky touching” and “the profit will only goes to the founder.” Spelling and word-form errors, including “fullfill,” “awared” and “struggling” in its sentence, also reduce control. Aim for precise housing and urban-planning vocabulary, and check collocations and word forms. For example, describe housing as “affordable,” rents as “prohibitively expensive,” and developers as “property developers” rather than relying on vague or literal expressions.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt to connect ideas using subordinate clauses and cause-and-effect structures, but the range is limited and complex sentences are often faulty. Errors in verb forms and agreement appear in phrases such as “population in cities increased,” “the profit will only goes” and “the rest of the people will struggling.” Other patterns, including “I’m totally disagree will this topic” and “old people could be troubled to go to their flat,” show problems with sentence construction and prepositions. Commas and spaces around punctuation are also inconsistent, and some sentences run several ideas together. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then add one clear subordinate clause at a time; check subject–verb agreement, tense, articles and punctuation during revision.
