Student answer (Band 5.0)
Most of the people thinks that to buy apartment in big cities is a better mindset but some people consider it was so stressful and unhygienic for health. I largely disagree with the said notion due to people health and mentality is more important than saving money and polluted environment.
To commence with, people who live in large cities , suffering from many difficulties. To explain it, high accommodation charges, so many people choses to live in apartment in low budget is a big problem for middle class individuals. But according to me, people should live a peaceful area and healthy atmosphere. Because it was matter a lot than money. For example, people get many diseases and mental issues.
Furthermore, the another reason is health. To explain it, in tall apartment in large cities is polluted and a lack of fresh water supply. On the other side people who live in her alone home keep fresh , good surroundings and taking good meal. For example, i causes breathing problems.
To conclude , in large cities citizens health and mentality is more than her increasing back account.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0
Your position is stated: “I largely disagree,” and you give reasons related to health, mental well-being and the living environment. However, the response only partially addresses the question because it does not clearly explain whether building tall apartment blocks is an effective way to provide enough homes, or compare this approach with alternatives. Several claims, such as apartments being polluted and lacking fresh water, are asserted rather than explained or supported with a relevant example. The conclusion repeats the concern about health but does not develop your answer. The response is also 65 words below the required minimum, which leaves too little space to explain and support your ideas. Focus on the housing-supply issue and develop each reason with a clear explanation and example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs signalled by “To commence with” and “Furthermore,” and a conclusion. This helps the reader identify the main sections. However, the ideas do not progress clearly from the question to supporting reasons: the first body paragraph shifts between accommodation costs, peaceful areas and health, while the second introduces pollution and water without showing how these points relate to the provision of homes. Linking phrases such as “To explain it” are repeated and do not always clarify the relationship between claims. Some sentences are difficult to follow, and the conclusion adds little beyond repeating the introduction. Organise each paragraph around one reason and connect its explanation and example explicitly.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “accommodation charges,” “middle class,” “fresh water supply” and “breathing problems,” so the reader can identify your concerns. However, the range is limited and several word combinations are unnatural or unclear, such as “better mindset,” “healthy atmosphere,” and “increasing back account.” Repetition of “people,” “health” and “To explain it” also restricts variety. Some choices make the intended meaning difficult to understand, particularly “her alone home.” Aim for precise vocabulary connected to urban housing, such as housing demand, high-rise development and access to green space. Check collocations and word forms, and choose expressions that state your meaning directly rather than relying on vague phrases.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple sentences and longer structures, including “I largely disagree … due to…” and a sentence beginning “Because.” However, complex attempts are often faulty, and errors in agreement, verb forms, articles and sentence construction frequently interrupt the message. For example, “Most of the people thinks” has a subject–verb agreement problem, while “people who live in large cities, suffering” lacks a finite verb. “People get many diseases” is understandable, but the surrounding explanation is not consistently formed as complete sentences. Punctuation and capitalisation are also inconsistent, as in “health. To explain it” and the lowercase “i.” Practise building accurate subject–verb sentences first, then add subordinate clauses and examples while checking each sentence for a complete main clause.
