Student answer (Band 5.0)
In recent years, housing in a large cities has become widely debaded topic. because the popolution in the urban areas is increasing day by day, its become more challeging for the goverments to provide adequate housing to its people.I believe that high rise buildings in the cities have relief this issue to some extend.
I strongly believe that. The growing population of the cities around the world has created this housing crisis in large cities, which also contributed the high price of the houses in cities. beause of this more real estate builders are now intrested to contruct more tall building appartments and peoples are more intrested to buy appartments rather than villas, because it involves less investment and they can also book on instalments. this is the optimal way to provide enough homes to citizens. In addition to that it is also very easy to maintain than a big house, it also the best way to manage land problem in cities. In small land building can provide houses to several peoples, it also help people to stay connected to each others while they are living in the same building they stay more socially connected to eachother than the people living in housing societies.
Nevertheless. Appartements don't have gardens so the people can connect to nature and people who come from rulal areas to the huge cities. they feel soffocated in small appartments.therefore govertment should pay more attention to make parks in the cities. where people can go and relax and dont feetrap int

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
Your position is broadly clear: you support tall apartment buildings as a way to address urban housing demand, while acknowledging drawbacks such as limited access to gardens. You give relevant reasons, including lower investment costs, efficient land use and easier maintenance. However, the response only partly develops the task: the benefits are listed more than explained, and the point about residents being socially connected is asserted without an example or clear explanation. The final paragraph introduces the need for parks, but does not fully explain how this qualifies your agreement with the statement. To strengthen the response, state your degree of agreement directly and develop each main reason with a specific example or consequence.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
There is some paragraphing, and the response moves from the housing problem to advantages and then to a drawback. This gives it a basic overall structure. However, progression within paragraphs is not always clear: several ideas are joined in a long sequence, particularly in the second paragraph, so the reader has to work to see how affordability, maintenance, land use and social connection relate. Connectors such as “In addition to that” and “Nevertheless” are attempted, but punctuation and placement are sometimes faulty, and the final paragraph ends abruptly. Use one central idea per paragraph, order supporting points clearly, and use linking phrases only where they show a precise relationship.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “housing crisis,” “high rise buildings,” “real estate builders,” “investment” and “land problem.” This gives you enough language to communicate the main subject. However, the range is limited and several spelling errors or imprecise expressions make the writing less clear, such as “debaded,” “popolution,” “appartments” and “feetrap.” Some combinations are also unnatural, for example “relief this issue” and “manage land problem.” Aim to learn accurate collocations for housing and urban planning, and check spelling carefully. More precise wording would help you explain the advantages and disadvantages without relying on repeated general terms such as “people” and “cities.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including a reason clause beginning “because” and a contrast introduced by “Nevertheless.” However, complex sentences are often difficult to follow because of frequent errors in sentence boundaries, agreement, articles and verb forms. For example, “housing in a large cities” has an article and number mismatch, while “its become” and “it also help” show problems with verb forms and agreement. Several sentence fragments or incorrectly punctuated starts, such as “because the population…” and “where people can go and relax,” also interrupt the flow. Practise building complete sentences with one main clause and a clearly attached supporting clause, then check subject–verb agreement and punctuation.
