Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5

You state a clear position—“i am totally agree with that statement”—and give relevant reasons, including reduced traffic and noise, security, and your experience living in an apartment. However, the response addresses the question only partially: it does not explain in enough detail why tall blocks are the best way to provide homes, or consider limitations and alternatives such as building outward. Several points are asserted rather than supported; for example, the claim that apartment living reduces traffic is not explained. The personal example is relevant but needs clearer detail and a direct link to housing supply. The response is also five words below the required minimum. Develop two main reasons with specific explanations or examples, and make the connection to providing enough homes explicit.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

There is some organisation: the response begins with your opinion, then gives reasons and a personal example, before restating your view. This gives the reader a basic sense of direction. However, the ideas are mostly presented in one long paragraph, so the shift from city problems to safety and personal experience is not clearly signposted. Linking phrases such as “such as” and “i think that” are repeated or used awkwardly, and the final sentence about needs being fulfilled is not connected to a specific point. Use separate paragraphs for your position, each supporting reason, and the conclusion. Clearer transitions and references would help show how each example supports the argument.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You use some task-related vocabulary, including “traffic problems,” “security,” “societies,” and “apartments,” and the reader can generally identify your main ideas. However, the range is limited and several words or phrases are repeated, particularly “cities,” “apartments,” and “difficulties.” Frequent spelling errors—such as “induv idual,” “benifites,” and “peacefull”—and inaccurate or unnatural combinations, including “tall apartments blocks” and “fillful in the appartments,” make the writing less clear. Aim for accurate, natural collocations and check spelling carefully. More precise terms for housing supply and urban planning would also help you explain your position with greater clarity.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt to connect ideas in longer sentences, for example by using “because” and “if,” and some basic meaning remains understandable. However, the range of sentence structures is limited, and errors are frequent. Examples include “i am totally agree,” “there are many benifites if we build,” and “i was aslo living … since last two,” which show problems with verb forms, agreement, and tense. Articles and plurals are also often inaccurate, as in “a tall apartments blocks” and “in a appartment.” Punctuation and capitalisation are inconsistent, with several sentences joined together. Practise accurate simple sentences first, then add subordinate clauses, checking verb forms, articles, and sentence boundaries.
