Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You give a clear, though qualified, position in “I partialy agree,” and your main supporting points are relevant: high-rise buildings can house many people on limited land and may allow space to be used for other purposes. The conclusion also restates this practical benefit. However, the response addresses the question only partly because the reasons are not consistently explained or supported with specific examples. The discussion of population growth and land scarcity is brief, while the paragraph about construction materials and natural disasters is difficult to connect to whether tall blocks are the best way to provide homes. Develop this qualification by explaining when high-rise housing is effective and what risks or alternatives limit it.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

There is some organisation: you state your position, present supporting points, introduce concerns about construction, and finish with a conclusion. Sequencing words such as “First,” “Secondly,” and “Thirdly” help signal the list of benefits. However, the essay does not show a clear progression from one developed argument to the next. Several ideas are repeated, particularly the claims that tall buildings house many people and use little land, and the construction-material concerns appear in both the second and fourth paragraphs without a clear relationship. Some links are also difficult to follow, as in “If the building construct, many other buildind Schools…” Use paragraphs to group each main point, explain it, and connect it explicitly to your position; avoid relying mainly on numbered transitions.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “population,” “natural disasters,” “industrial area,” and “efficient land use,” and the final phrase communicates the central benefit effectively. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations make meaning unclear, such as “to high height apartments,” “the population is survive in living life,” and “large cities tall buildings can play important role in living life.” Spelling errors such as “buil ed,” “partialy,” “furture,” and “conculsion” also reduce accuracy. Aim to use a smaller set of precise housing and urban-planning terms correctly, and check spelling and word forms. For example, describe buildings as “high-rise apartment blocks” and say they “accommodate residents” rather than repeating general references to living.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences, and the response includes some subordination, for example, “because material provide building area very costly.” However, complex attempts are often faulty, and frequent errors in sentence structure, verb forms, agreement, articles, and punctuation can make the reader work to understand your meaning. Examples include “Most of the people thought,” “This population need more house,” and “Tall building is the best way,” where tense, agreement, or number is not controlled. Some sentences are incomplete or run together, such as “Tall building is the best way … but there some danger in furture.” Practise building accurate subject–verb–object sentences first, then add one clear subordinate clause at a time and check sentence boundaries.
