Student answer (Band 5.5)
Accomodation is necessity for people. Due to growth in population, enough places to build homes are not available in large cities. In my opinion, I agree with this opinion to a larger extent that to provide accomodation to all people, building tall apartments is best way because it can make people easy to reside in metro city.
Firstly, building tall apartments will provide homes to many employees and migrants to live in city. Also, increasing numbers of accomodation will make apartments affordable. Due to this, people will be able to buy their home in their budget. That's why building tall apartments will be beneficial for people, because their dream of having home will be achievable.
Secondly, projects of making tall apartments block will connect so many communities together. Also, many tall building blocks have amenties such as gym, swimming pool, club house, banquet hall and parking. Due to this, social gethering of people will rise, because they can meet each other from their blocks in any of this place. They can make good friends and connections with people from different sectors. Due to this, community grows strong together. That's why building tall flats are necessity in large cities for development of people.
However, project of building tall apartments require huge budget and it is risky. These projects can get fail due to its location, cost of apartments, and
build in low demand in certain areas. Due to this, builder can face debt.
To sum up, I am agree with this opinion that building tall apartment blocks will provide lots of advantages to the people. Also it will give opportunity to grow stronger within community. Though, some issues can be faced by builder due to failed project.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear: you agree to a large extent that tall apartment blocks are the best way to provide homes. You give relevant reasons, including accommodating employees and migrants, potentially making homes more affordable, and creating shared community facilities. The paragraph beginning “However” also recognises the financial risk to developers, so the response considers a limitation rather than presenting only one side. Some points, however, are asserted rather than fully explained: for example, more apartments are said to make homes affordable, but the link between building height, supply and prices needs clarification. The discussion of community amenities is also more developed than the central question of how effectively high-rise construction meets housing demand. Explain these connections and support them with a specific example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two supporting paragraphs, a counterpoint and a conclusion. The main ideas are generally presented in a sensible order, and phrases such as “Firstly,” “Secondly” and “However” help signal the direction of the argument. However, cohesion is often mechanical because “Also” and “Due to this” recur, sometimes without a clear cause-and-effect relationship. For instance, the claim that amenities lead to stronger communities would benefit from a more precise explanation of how residents interact. Some references are also unclear, as in “any of this place,” and the final paragraph repeats the main position without adding much synthesis. Use a wider range of linking methods and make connections between claims explicit.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use relevant topic vocabulary, including “migrants,” “affordable,” “amenities,” “community” and “debt,” which helps communicate the main ideas. There are also attempts at more specific language, such as “banquet hall” and “low demand.” However, several spelling errors and inaccurate word choices reduce precision, including “Accomodation,” “amenties” and “gethering.” Some phrases are awkward or imprecise, such as “projects of making tall apartments block” and “make people easy to reside.” Repetition of “building tall apartments” and “Due to this” also limits flexibility. Aim for accurate collocations such as “construct high-rise apartment blocks” and “provide housing,” and check spelling carefully. More precise vocabulary would make the argument clearer and more natural.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including clauses with “because” and “that,” and the overall meaning is usually understandable. Some sentence patterns are controlled, such as “These projects can get fail due to its location, cost of apartments, and build in low demand in certain areas,” although this example also shows where accuracy breaks down. Errors include missing or incorrect articles (“Accomodation is necessity”), agreement and verb forms (“I am agree,” “projects … require,” and “can get fail”), and sentence construction (“building tall apartments is best way”). There are also problems with plural forms and punctuation, such as the comma before “because” in the community paragraph. Review articles, subject–verb agreement and verb patterns, then proofread complex sentences to ensure each clause is complete and accurate.
