Student answer (Band 5.5)
It is often argued whether built a building with accomadation in biggest cities or not. As far as I am concrened, I believe it is much better to developed apartment in crowded area because it helps to save land and convenint acess to facilities.
To begin with, tall apartmant blocks are effective due to some reasons. One of the prominent reasons is save land. To explain it, large cities have limited area while numerous peoples move to urban places for opportunities so buling upwards allows individual to live in the same area even more apartmants can buit on small piece of land. Similarly, another reason is convienint acess to facilities. Elaborating it, apartmants can built ner the school, hospital, shops and public transport which reduce traffic congestion and commuting times.
However, relying entriely on high-rise buldings can create problems. Large number of people living at one place creat over crowding, noise and lack of privacy. In addition these building are risk during the perid of earthquack as well as it considerable pressure on infurasture such as water supplies, electricty and road. Therefore, governments should also consider developing affortable housing in small towns with different kind o opportunities.
To wrap it, building tall houses in urban area is better way . I Totally agree with this statement because it save land of large cities wihich have limited land and convinent for everything however, it create over population at one place which create presser on basic needs for human . Furthermore, it can be solve by authourities by built houses in small town with work opportunties.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear: you agree that tall apartment blocks are a good way to provide homes in large cities. You give relevant reasons, including saving land and placing housing near schools, hospitals, shops and public transport, and you also acknowledge drawbacks such as crowding, noise and pressure on infrastructure. This addresses the main parts of the question. However, some points are asserted rather than fully explained. For example, the claim that nearby facilities reduce traffic and commuting would be stronger with a brief explanation or example of how residents benefit. The final suggestion to build housing in small towns is relevant, but its connection to meeting demand in large cities could be made clearer. Develop each main reason with more specific support.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, a paragraph supporting high-rise housing, a paragraph discussing disadvantages, and a conclusion that restates your view. This gives the reader an overall logical route through your argument. You also use linking expressions such as “To begin with,” “However,” and “In addition.” At times, though, cohesion feels mechanical, and some links do not clearly show how one idea follows from another. For instance, “Similarly” introduces a second reason rather than a closely similar point, while the conclusion repeats earlier claims without bringing them together. Use clearer topic sentences and connect each explanation directly to its main point. Check that pronouns and references, such as “it” and “these building,” have an unmistakable referent.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use relevant topic vocabulary, including “tall apartment blocks,” “limited area,” “traffic congestion,” “commuting times,” “overcrowding,” and “infrastructure.” These choices show that you can discuss housing and urban pressures. However, the range is limited and several spelling errors or inaccurate word choices make parts of the response harder to read, for example “accomadation,” “convenint,” and “infurasture.” Some combinations are also unnatural, such as “save land” and “pressure on basic needs for human.” Aim to learn accurate collocations as complete phrases, and proofread spelling carefully. More precise terms for housing supply, density and public services would help you express your ideas with greater clarity and flexibility.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including a reason clause beginning “because” and a contrast introduced by “while.” This gives the response some structural variety, and the main argument is generally understandable. However, errors in verb forms, sentence construction, agreement and articles occur in several places. For example, “whether built a building” needs a complete clause, and “it helps to save land” does not agree with the later plural subject in the same argument. In “apartmants can built,” the verb form is incorrect; use “can be built.” Some sentences also combine several ideas without clear grammatical control, particularly in the conclusion. Practise accurate clause patterns and check subject–verb agreement, articles and verb forms when editing.
