Student answer (Band 5.5)

These days, people prefer to live in a private socities and big properties because they are watching other doing this. Most of the individuals thought, constructing multistory bulidings help to settle more residents in huge urban areas. I completely agree with these thinkings that making tall buildings help to provide extra space for livingbeings to get their own homes. Doing this most people come in cities for live here therefore, cities economy grow rapidly also greater employeement opportunities create.

To begin with, cities face issue which caused by over population and not enough residential area available to manage all. Roads are fill with homeless families who spend night under open skys which damage cities reputation. By building tall apartment blocks with vast range of small and large houses give space to these residents to live in it. In a recent survey, two families out of ten have no proper home or have rental properties.

Secondly, having a home in cities give families more options related to education, health and finantially. if they move to urban side their childrens get upto the mark study benefits also they esstablish businesses which provide handsome income to fullfill family requirements. City also gain economic strength which contribute in provide other advantages to citizens. For example, if huge ammount of families come in city then more persons work in different feilds which automatically pump their own and others financial condition.

In conclusion, no homes in cities for residents situation get worse with time due to the creation of private socities and rich families trend to live in kanals houses. In result, space is reduce for others to build homes. Hence, government and private businessmens needs to construct long buildings with multiple houses in it which results in more area and best ecenomy in sense more working options and employees.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

Your position is clear from the introduction: “I completely agree,” and the essay stays focused on housing in large cities. You give relevant reasons, including accommodating residents and the potential benefits of urban access to education, healthcare and employment. The conclusion also returns to the need for tall buildings. However, some points are asserted rather than explained: the survey about families without proper homes is not connected clearly to how apartment blocks would solve the problem, and the link between more residents and economic growth is repeated without much supporting detail. The discussion also shifts toward the benefits of moving to cities, rather than consistently evaluating tall apartment blocks as the best way to provide homes. Develop these links and support them with a specific, relevant example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion. “To begin with” and “Secondly” signal the main points, and the overall progression from housing shortages to wider urban benefits is understandable. However, some connections between ideas are unclear or mechanical. For example, the sentence about roads being “fill with homeless families” is followed by a survey claim without explaining how the evidence supports the proposed solution. The second body paragraph also moves from education to business and then economic strength, making its central point less focused. Improve cohesion by grouping related ideas, using clearer references to the housing argument, and explaining the relationship between each example and the claim it supports.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “over population,” “residential area,” “economic strength” and “employment opportunities.” These choices show an effort to discuss housing and urban development, but inaccurate spelling, word forms and collocations are noticeable and sometimes make the meaning less clear. Examples include “private socities,” “multistory bulidings,” “finantially,” and “kanals houses.” Some phrases are also unnatural, such as “settle more residents” and “pump their own and others financial condition.” Aim for accurate, natural combinations rather than more elaborate wording: for instance, use “accommodate more residents” and “improve their financial circumstances.” Proofreading spelling and choosing precise terms for housing types would make your ideas easier to follow.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You use both simple statements and attempts at longer sentences, including clauses introduced by “because,” “which” and “if.” This gives the response some structural variety, and the main message is generally understandable. However, errors in agreement, verb forms, articles and sentence construction recur. For example, “cities face issue” needs a plural or article, “Roads are fill” has an incorrect verb form, and “having a home in cities give families” has subject–verb disagreement. The conditional sentence beginning “if they move to urban side” also contains several grammatical problems that obscure the intended meaning. Work on building accurate sentences first, then extend them with subordinate clauses; check subject–verb agreement, verb forms and sentence boundaries during revision.
