Student answer (Band 5.0)
The most appropriate way to full fill home demands can be done by building tall apartment buildings.
I totally agree with this point. There are certain reasons for this strong agrrement which includes. In bigger cities there are alot of opportunities, for the sake of opportunities families or youngsters who are about to start there career move to those cities and with that the demands of homes increases. If i share my cousine's story when he was moving to karachi for his Job he was unable to find a home for almost 2.5 months. For all that time he lived with his friends family. After concerning with real estate agents he got to know this is the issue which arrises every year the ratio of migrated people is very much higher then the homes available.
The second story is of my uncles family, they decided to migrate from our village to lahore for the better education opportunites of there children. For almost 3 months he used to travel over there every week to find home so that they can settle over there.
So in my opinion to overcome this issue the best possible soltuion is to build new apparment buildings so that this ratio levels with each other.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
Your position is clear: you “totally agree” that tall apartment buildings are the best way to address housing demand, and both examples relate to people moving to large cities. However, the response only partially develops the task. The stories about your cousin and uncle show difficulty finding homes, but they do not explain why building upwards is more effective than other approaches or how it would provide enough homes. The conclusion repeats your view without adding support. The response is also below the required 250 words, so there is limited space to develop your reasoning. To strengthen the answer, explain the benefits and possible limitations of high-rise housing, then connect each example directly to your argument.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a basic sequence: it states your opinion, gives two examples, and ends with a conclusion. Phrases such as “The second story” and “So in my opinion” help signal this order. However, the overall progression is limited because the two personal stories are presented one after another without a clear explanation of how each supports the proposed solution. Some linking is awkward or repetitive, and the opening sentence is not clearly separated from the opinion and reasons that follow. Use distinct paragraphs for your position, developed reasons, and conclusion, and add links that show cause and effect—for example, explain how high-rise buildings could accommodate more residents on limited urban land.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use enough basic vocabulary to communicate the central topic, including “opportunities,” “migrate,” “real estate agents,” and “homes available.” However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate, which makes parts of the response less clear or natural. For example, “full fill home demands” and “this ratio levels with each other” do not express the intended ideas precisely; “meet housing demand” and “balance housing supply and demand” would be clearer. Spelling errors such as “agrrement,” “opportunites,” and “soltuion” are also noticeable. Build a more precise set of topic-related expressions and check spelling carefully, especially in key terms used to state your argument.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
Your response communicates a clear general meaning, and you attempt longer sentences, including the sentence beginning “In bigger cities there are alot of opportunities.” However, the range is limited, and complex sentences are often faulty or difficult to follow. For instance, “There are certain reasons for this strong agrrement which includes” is incomplete, while “the ratio of migrated people is very much higher then the homes available” has problems with sentence structure and comparison. There are also errors in articles, possessives, and verb forms, as in “a home”/“homes” patterns and “they decided to migrate … so that they can settle.” Practise building accurate sentences with subordinate clauses, and check agreement, tense consistency, and punctuation.
