Student answer (Band 4.5)
It is widely acknowledge that the best way to provide enough homes in large cities is to build tall apartment blocks. Althrough there on compelling arguments on both sides of this debote, i agree with this questionare, primaly because accomodation problem solve and parking space.
On the one mocst complelling reason for my point of view is that accomodation problem solve. This can be attributed to the fact that solve all people living area. Which have far reaching impliments for scoiety. A pertinent this is clearly illustrates that some people have no land as well as there has no house so they live in the apartment blocks.
On the other most complelling reason is that parking space. It is largely because tall building parking space are avialable in underground. Furthermore parking are very saftey place for park the car. Security guard are avilable in the parking space as well as there has planting a cctv camera which are connect in our mobile. We always are to keep the car.
The other to i disagree this development. This main reason is that privacy. It is largely beacuse all tall buildings are very close and the perople residing next to our home. Another reason is uncomfortable. All building are very close and sometimes masses are feeling are very uncomortable.
On the way of conclusion, govrment should starteda a making big bulidings because there has many benefit to all masses who lives in tall buildings. I live in a large building and i prefer to all masses starded to live in a big buildings.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
You give a clear overall preference for tall apartment blocks and include reasons both for and against them, so the response is relevant to the question. However, the supporting ideas are very limited and often unclear: “accomodation problem solve” is not explained, and the parking discussion focuses on security and CCTV rather than showing how high-rise construction provides enough homes. The opposing points about privacy and discomfort are also only briefly stated. Your conclusion repeats your preference without drawing the reasons together. The response is 244 words, six words below the 250-word minimum; the 16 words copied from the prompt are excluded. Develop each main point with a clear explanation or specific example, and make the extent of your agreement explicit.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for supporting and opposing points, and a conclusion. Basic signposting such as “Furthermore,” “Another reason,” and “On the way of conclusion” helps identify the stages of your argument. However, progression within paragraphs is often difficult to follow: the accommodation paragraph moves from a claim to incomplete statements, while the parking paragraph shifts from availability to safety without clearly linking these points to the question. Phrases such as “On the one” and “On the other” are also incomplete or awkward, and references like “This” do not always make the connection clear. Use complete topic sentences and connect each explanation directly to the paragraph’s main idea.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You attempt vocabulary relevant to housing and city life, including “apartment blocks,” “underground,” “privacy,” and “security guard.” However, the range is basic and repetitive, and frequent spelling errors make several ideas harder to understand, for example “Althrough,” “debote,” “accomodation,” and “uncomortable.” Some word combinations are also unnatural, such as “accomodation problem solve,” “planting a cctv camera,” and “masses are feeling are very uncomfortable.” These issues fit a limited vocabulary range and sometimes strain the reader. Build accuracy by checking spelling and learning common collocations, such as “address the housing shortage,” “underground parking,” and “residents may feel uncomfortable.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You try to use both simple and more extended sentence forms, including “It is largely because…” and “Furthermore…,” but control is weak and errors occur throughout. Examples include “It is widely acknowledge” instead of a correctly formed passive, “some people have no land as well as there has no house,” and “Security guard are avilable.” Several sentences are incomplete or lack a clear grammatical connection, such as “Which have far reaching impliments for scoiety.” Agreement, articles, verb forms, and sentence boundaries are recurring problems, and these sometimes obscure meaning. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then combine them with clauses using “because,” “although,” and “which.”
