Student answer (Band 5.5)
In the modern era , houses play a crucial in every person's life without home life is impossible. A few people assert that it is best way to construct limited home in big cities and people like to bulid tall apartment rather than houses. I partially agree with this statement and reasons which will be elaborated in the upcoming paragraphs with relevant examples.
To Begin with, fundamental reasons could be consideration as to why people live flats rather than houses. Primarily, it reduces the problem of unemployment as well it helps to save individuals precious money. For explain it, when they live in flat many people migrate the cities owing to apartments provide a equal opportunity to every people , and their rent are lower than the private house so people do not face any kind of difficult when they migrate one place to other. For example,in thesedays number of children travel to different nations for their studies or job thus they need a accomodation with the help of this they do not face any kind of difficulties in their life.
on the other hand, the drawback of this can not be neglected first foremost is it creates variety of problem such as, loss of privacy as well people feel suffocated although many people live in the flats rather than houses , but they do not take breath easily due to the area of flat is congested to that of big houses. For example, cardiovascular disease. if they live in the apartments they face this kind of serious issues.
To sum up, there are a alot of merits it solve the problem of unemployment as well as save their precious money. Nevertheless, it creates the problem various kind of disease.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You state a partial agreement and give reasons on both sides, so the response is relevant to the question. However, it only partly addresses the central issue: the discussion focuses on living in flats, rent, migration and privacy, rather than explaining whether tall apartment blocks are the best way to provide enough homes in large cities. The claim that apartments reduce unemployment is not clearly explained, and the example about children travelling abroad for study or work does not strongly support the housing argument. The opposing point about privacy and feeling suffocated is relevant, but the reference to cardiovascular disease is asserted without explanation. Develop a clearer position and support each reason with a direct link to housing supply in large cities.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, a paragraph presenting advantages, a contrasting paragraph, and a conclusion. The shift signalled by “on the other hand” helps readers follow the change in viewpoint, and the conclusion returns to the main pros and cons. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes unclear because several ideas are joined without showing their relationship. For instance, the link between lower rent, migration and unemployment is difficult to follow, while the example about children studying abroad does not clearly connect to the preceding point. Some linking phrases, including “To Begin with” and “For example,” are used mechanically. Make each paragraph develop one main reason in a clear sequence, and use referencing and transitions to show how examples support it.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some topic-relevant vocabulary, including “privacy,” “congested,” “rent,” and “accommodation,” and attempt phrases such as “precious money” and “cardiovascular disease.” This gives you a basic range for discussing housing and its effects. However, word choice and collocation are often inaccurate or repetitive, which sometimes makes the intended meaning difficult to understand: “construct limited home,” “reduces the problem of unemployment,” and “do not take breath easily” are not natural expressions in this context. There are also noticeable spelling and word-form errors, such as “bulid,” “thesedays,” and “a accomodation.” Build a more precise set of housing-related phrases and check spelling and collocations so your ideas are expressed clearly.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more extended sentence forms, including clauses introduced by “although” and “as well as,” and the reader can generally identify your main points. However, complex sentences are often faulty, and errors in sentence boundaries, articles, agreement and verb forms can make meaning harder to follow. For example, “without home life is impossible” lacks a clear grammatical connection, while “their rent are lower” has a subject–verb agreement error. The sentence beginning “although many people live in the flats” is also awkwardly joined to the contrast that follows. Punctuation and capitalisation are inconsistent, as in “For example,in thesedays” and “cardiovascular disease.” Practise accurate sentence boundaries and check each clause for a clear subject and verb.
