Student answer (Band 5.5)
The efficient way to provide enough home in large cities is to build tall apartments blocks . home is necessary need for every family. I Agree with this statement and describe reasons for this
First of all, today our countries are overpopulated ,agricultural land are decreased day by day , but the need of people is still not met . Apartment blocks are best way to solve this problem . In big cities the land is short because everywhere the land is covered with building , home , shops , hospitals and other things etc. but f we build single home for each family it will take a lot of space and one day the land is not left to make home so thats why tall apartments are builds For example in my city the land is short to build houses for people so the establishment decided to built large apartment instead of building housing socities .
apartments is not only save the land but it is also save money and time , we do not need extra money to buy land and our construction fees is also save to large extent .
on other hand , we do not need to clean the whole house which is time taken and we don,t need to pay extra money on apartment .For example my uncle has small amount of money for building house so he decided to buy apartment instead of building house in this way he saved his money .
To conclude , apartment is better option because it saved our money and time .

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You take a clear position in favour of tall apartment blocks and give relevant reasons, including limited land in cities and potential savings on land and construction. The examples about your city and uncle also help connect the argument to real situations. However, the response addresses the question only partially because it does not explain in much detail why tall blocks are the best way to provide enough homes, or consider any limitations or alternatives. The point about saving time and money is repeated, while the main claim about increasing housing capacity needs fuller explanation and support. Develop each reason with a clearer explanation of how it helps meet housing demand, and maintain the same precise position throughout.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
There is some organisation: you introduce your opinion, present reasons in separate sections, and finish with a conclusion. Connectors such as “First of all,” “For example,” and “To conclude” help signal the stages of the response. However, progression is not consistently clear. The long first body paragraph combines population growth, land shortages, a hypothetical comparison, and a city example, making the central point difficult to follow. The transition “on other hand” suggests a contrast, but the following point about cleaning and costs does not clearly contrast with the previous paragraph. Some ideas are repeated, particularly saving money and time. Use one focused paragraph per main reason, and make each linking phrase accurately show the relationship between ideas.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use a basic range of topic-related vocabulary, including “overpopulated,” “agricultural land,” “construction,” and “apartment blocks,” so the general subject is understandable. However, vocabulary is limited and several word choices or combinations are inaccurate or repetitive. For example, “provide enough home,” “the land is short,” and “construction fees is also save” do not express the intended ideas naturally. “Home” and “apartment” are also repeated frequently, and spelling errors such as “socities” and “thats” reduce accuracy. Build a wider set of precise housing and urban-planning expressions, and check common collocations and spelling. This would make your argument clearer and more fluent for the reader.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple sentences and longer sentences with clauses, such as the explanation beginning “because everywhere the land is covered…”. However, the range is limited, and attempts to form longer sentences often contain errors that make the relationships between ideas harder to follow. There are frequent problems with subject–verb agreement and verb forms, as in “agricultural land are decreased,” “apartments is,” and “the establishment decided to built.” Articles, plurals, and sentence boundaries are also inconsistent, while punctuation and capitalisation errors occur throughout. Practise building accurate sentences with one main clause and a clearly connected supporting clause, then check agreement, tense, articles, and punctuation before submitting.
