Student answer (Band 5.5)
Due to the increasing population some countries go short for housing on top of that rents there go sky rockating . which cause alote of trouble specially for the middle class and poor people to persue a peacefull life.
so here we have a solution on which we going to put some light on. So it goes like ;Does building Larg apartments and buildings going to help us tackling this growing housing and living crises.
As per my openion this does creat a big change and it will help providing alote of houses and space for the people but it just pauses the problem for a while , because we are not treating the real problem ,which is the fast growing population. The country must get a check on thier birth control index and also go through the rate of imigrants living in the country. Because building the larg buildings and apartments does'nt solve the porblem fully . We have to treat the root cause, We must spread awearness on birth control and revise our imigration laws to control the populaton.
For instance lets take a look on china , how brilliantly they not only conrtolled thier population ,moreover they also tackle with food crises too . As a result they are standing as one the biggest powers accross the glob. not only thier government, also thier poeple stand side by side and pull them selves out from this crises,if i am not wrong only in 10 to 15 years. so isnt it true strong nations are built by strong people.
In conclusion we should pay more attention to look over the root cause(increasing population) . and also we must built apartments and buildings cause we cannot undo the population that is already grown.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You give a clear, qualified position: tall apartment buildings can provide more homes, but they do not address population growth, which you identify as a deeper cause of housing pressure. This responds to the question and your conclusion returns to the same view. The China example also attempts to support your argument. However, the discussion focuses heavily on population control and immigration rather than explaining how apartment blocks compare with other ways of providing homes. The claim that high-rise construction only pauses the problem is asserted rather than demonstrated, and the China example does not clearly show how its population policies relate to housing. Develop these links and explain the benefits and limitations of tall buildings more fully.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, a paragraph presenting your position and reasons, an example, and a conclusion. The central line of argument—high-rise housing helps, but population growth also matters—is generally traceable. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes unclear. The move from apartment construction to birth control and immigration is abrupt, and the China example shifts to food shortages and national strength without clearly connecting these points to housing. Some linking phrases, such as “As a result” and “moreover,” signal relationships that are not fully explained. Use clearer topic sentences and make each example explicitly support the point about housing; this would make the organisation more logical and cohesion less mechanical.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt topic-related vocabulary, including “housing,” “rents,” “birth control,” “immigration laws,” and “root cause,” and the main message can usually be understood. However, spelling and word-choice errors are frequent and sometimes make the reader work to interpret your meaning: examples include “sky rockating,” “persue,” “crises,” and “conrtolled.” Several phrases are also unnatural or imprecise, such as “go short for housing,” “get a check on their birth control index,” and “pull them selves out from this crises.” Build accuracy with common collocations for housing and population, and proofread spelling carefully. More precise phrasing would help you express your argument without relying on broad or unclear wording.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex forms, including a relative clause in “the real problem, which is the fast growing population” and a reason clause beginning “because.” The overall meaning is often recoverable, but sentence boundaries and punctuation are not consistently controlled. For example, “which cause alote of trouble” is a fragment, while “Does building Larg apartments and buildings going to help us…” has an incorrect question structure. There are also errors in agreement and verb forms, as in “we going to put some light on” and “they also tackle with food crises.” Capitalisation and comma use are inconsistent, and some sentences run together. Practise forming complete clauses and checking subject–verb agreement, verb forms, and sentence boundaries.
