Student answer (Band 5.0)

The better route for all living population for manage accommodation in large areas is provide tall infrastructure building. In my opinion, that is best way to handle crowd place and give affordable apartment. I am fully agree for this opinion.

In large cities, Accommodation is biggest problem because this cities population rise significantly. As a result, government should provide every one convenient housing. Now days, People demand more affordable and also landed house but in large cities that was impossible for this. government could provide top facilities and sustainable house for solve this problem and also develop high level infrastructure and build tall and suitable apartment. If government build new tall apartment, the problem of shortage housing will solve. For example, In India some famous cities like Mumbai, Delhi, and Bangalore have over population ,although they can manage their crowd by build tall apartment and create new police and develop rules and regulation in their cities. In this cities we cannot see any landed house in crowded place. This cities build infrastructure like they can prevent and develop their cities and provide all facilities for public what they want in large cities.

I believe that the government makes high rise building in large cities. It feels people comfortable but it was biggest problem for our environment. although, tall building may effect on environment, government should build for prevent city and for want urban development. However, tall and large apartment solve living population housing problem . This cannot fix overcrowd in large cities. In this cities people are rich and more independent so they can want facilities and comfortable for their resident. In large cities, government focus for great infrastructure and constraction to encourage people for living their.

In conclusion, tall and affordable better apartment for large cities to manage population which is become rapidly higher in present days. government solve this problem and make sure every one live more comfortable and happy in large cities.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You give a clear overall view in favour of tall apartment buildings, stating, “I am fully agree for this opinion,” and you keep returning to housing shortages in large cities. The examples of Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore are relevant, and you briefly acknowledge an environmental drawback. However, the response only partly develops the task: it does not explain in detail why high-rise construction is the best way to provide homes, or compare it with alternatives such as building on city outskirts or improving existing housing. Several claims, including that tall buildings will solve the shortage, are asserted rather than supported. Develop two or three reasons with specific explanation and examples, and clarify how you weigh the environmental concern against the benefits.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The response has an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, so the reader can identify its broad structure and position. You also use basic links such as “As a result,” “For example,” and “However.” However, progression within the body paragraphs is difficult to follow: ideas about affordability, facilities, population growth, the environment and residents’ preferences are placed together without clear relationships. Repeated references such as “In this cities” are unclear, and some linking words do not show the intended contrast or cause. Give each paragraph one main purpose, order its supporting points logically, and use clear references and transitions to connect each idea.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “affordable,” “sustainable,” “infrastructure,” “overcrowd” and “urban development.” This shows some range beyond basic housing terms. However, word choice and collocation errors are frequent enough to make parts of the argument difficult to understand, as in “manage accommodation,” “landed house,” “prevent city” and “living population.” Some expressions are repeated, particularly “large cities” and “tall apartment,” while spelling and word-form errors such as “constraction” reduce accuracy. Build a more reliable set of topic phrases and check whether words naturally combine; for example, use “address the housing shortage” and “high-rise apartment buildings.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including a conditional structure in “If government build new tall apartment, the problem of shortage housing will solve.” However, complex sentences are often faulty, and frequent errors in agreement, articles, verb forms and sentence construction sometimes obscure meaning. Examples include “this cities population rise,” “government should provide every one,” and “tall and large apartment solve.” There are also incomplete or poorly joined clauses, such as “although they can manage their crowd by build tall apartment.” Practise accurate subject–verb agreement and verb patterns, and make sure each sentence has a complete main clause. Shorter, correctly controlled sentences will help before you add more complex structures.
