Student answer (Band 6.0)
It is often argued that long residential apartment blocks should be build in big cities to provide sufficient residencies to citizens.I largely agree with this statement as the construction of tall apartment blocks is beneficial in terms of their cheap prices and the environmetal perks.
One of the main resons to build high length apartments is that they are relatively available at the low prices. The main reason behind low prices is that they are build on small area of land and this land price ultimately divides among all the residents.Due to which people can save their money which they have to use in buying the land otherwise, hence the saved money can be used by the citizens to furnish their apartments. For intance , In thiland most of the citizens prefer to live in the apartments due to their lower cost instead of buying expensive homes.
Another significant reason to build tall blocks is that they are build using only small area of the land and most of the city population can be easily accommodated in these blocks instead of building separate homes for each family in different areas of the cities, which ultimately results in the spreading of urban area.As a rsult of which there is depletion in the natural green sites and it would directly effect the wildlife and the quality of environment will be deteriorate.
To sum up, I strongly hold the belief that building tall building blocks is beneficial according to economic point of view as well as to conserve environmental standards.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear from the introduction: you largely agree because apartment blocks can be cheaper and reduce pressure on green space. Both points are relevant, and the Thailand example gives the affordability argument some support. However, the environmental point is not fully explained: you describe how urban expansion harms green sites and wildlife, but do not clearly show how tall blocks would prevent that expansion or acknowledge possible drawbacks such as overcrowding. The affordability paragraph also relies on a broad claim rather than a specific explanation of how costs are shared. Develop each reason with a clearer cause-and-effect link and a more precise example to make the response more fully supported.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs presenting separate reasons, and a concluding statement that restates your view. Linking expressions such as “One of the main reasons,” “Another significant reason,” and “To sum up” help readers follow the progression. At times, however, cohesion becomes mechanical or the links between ideas are unclear. For example, “Due to which” and “As a result of which” introduce sentence fragments, while the long sentence beginning “Another significant reason” contains several connected points without a clear break. Use a wider range of linking methods, make references explicit, and divide complex explanations into sentences with one main purpose.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use a relevant range of topic vocabulary, including “residential apartment blocks,” “accommodated,” “urban area,” and “wildlife,” and your meaning is generally understandable. There are, however, several inaccurate word choices, collocations, and spelling errors that limit precision. “Long residential apartment blocks” is not a natural way to describe height, “sufficient residencies” does not convey the intended meaning, and “cheap prices” is less suitable than a phrase such as “lower housing costs.” Errors such as “resons,” “intance,” and “environmetal” also reduce accuracy. Build a bank of natural housing and urban-planning collocations, and proofread spelling and word forms before submitting.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, including clauses with “as,” “which,” and “instead of,” and the main ideas can generally be followed. Some grammatical errors remain, particularly with verb forms, agreement, and sentence boundaries. For example, “should be build” should use a past participle, while “the quality of environment will be deteriorate” has an incorrect verb construction. The sentence beginning “Due to which” is not a complete sentence, and “the land price ultimately divides” does not express the intended passive meaning accurately. Aim to control these structures before adding further complexity, and check that each sentence has a complete main clause and consistent subject–verb agreement.
