Student answer (Band 5.5)

The significant way to provide homes in subtantial cities is to construct tall apartment blocks therefore it assits in managing numeous range of population growth in cities.

One of the main aspect of any human being is to build a home and spend a whole life with that home, Particularly countires manily have substantial growth of population in the most advance cities where all needs of human development can be fulfill by the government policy, However larg cities focus more on all facilities that can provided by the government therefore building tall apartments blocks aid the government to manage the population more accurately in larg cities.

For instances, china plays an significant role in this scenrio where houses can be found in more rural areas whereas larg cities have huge biulding apartments blocks where a society handle more accurately.

On the other hand By providing tall apartments blocks helps government build more parks and gardens for public for human well being. Government should make such policy to control population growth in larg cities this idea not only helps the government in managing population, however it helps the government to get more space for bigger projects for example, Larg cities requires malls, health centers and educational institute which is also a greate aspect for public well being.

I am totally agree with this point of view of build tall apartment in the larg cities. There are some consequences however it have more advantages.

In conclusion, government should take such actions for the prosperity of larg cities its an substantail way of public well being, in future there will be greate opportunities for people living in those larg cities.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

Your position is clear in the final body paragraph: you agree that tall apartment blocks are the best way to provide homes in large cities. You also give relevant reasons, including accommodating population growth and freeing space for parks and public facilities, and the China example is on topic. However, the response only partly develops the task: it does not compare this approach with alternatives or explain why it is the best way, and several claims remain general. The opening is difficult to interpret, while the point about “consequences” is introduced but not explained. Develop each reason with a clear explanation or specific example, and maintain your position consistently from the introduction through the conclusion.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs presenting reasons, and a conclusion. The contrast marker “On the other hand” signals a new point, and examples such as China and public facilities help indicate the intended direction. However, progression within paragraphs is often unclear: the first body paragraph moves from the importance of having a home to government policy and then to China without clearly connecting these ideas. Linking words such as “therefore,” “however,” and “for example” are sometimes used mechanically or where the relationship is not clear. Improve cohesion by giving each paragraph one central claim, then explaining and illustrating it in a logical sequence; use pronouns and transitions only when their references and relationships are clear.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt topic-related vocabulary, including “population growth,” “government policy,” “parks and gardens,” and “public well being,” so the reader can identify the subject and your main ideas. However, the range is limited and several word choices or combinations are inaccurate or repetitive, which sometimes makes meaning difficult to follow. For example, “manage numerous range of population growth” is not a natural expression, and “a society handle more accurately” does not clearly describe the effect of apartment blocks. Spelling errors such as “subtantial,” “assits,” “countires,” and “scenrio” are also noticeable. Build a more precise vocabulary for housing and urban planning, check spelling carefully, and learn common collocations rather than translating phrases word for word.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and longer sentence forms, including clauses introduced by “where” and “which,” and you use paragraph-level punctuation to separate the main sections. However, complex sentences are often faulty, and frequent errors in agreement, articles, verb forms, and sentence construction can make the reader work to understand your meaning. For instance, “One of the main aspect … is to build” has a number-agreement problem, while “By providing tall apartments blocks helps government build” lacks a clear grammatical subject. The sentence beginning “Government should make such policy” also joins several ideas without clear control. Practise building accurate subject–verb–object sentences first, then add one subordinate clause at a time; check articles, plural forms, and punctuation when editing.
