Student answer (Band 5.0)

Nowadays, living in a luxiourious life along with all kinds of accessabilities is a deam of every individuals. However, many people opine that tall buildings in large cities provide best living experience of life and this also provide convient space of their home. I partly agree with this statement and this essay will elucidate my view points regarding this issue in further paragraphs.

At the first glance, introducing tall buildings in large cities has bundle of amenties. The first and foremost advantage is that, it consume less space, to elaborate it, rather then build separate house with all the different water and electricity line in it, it is more affordable and cheap to build high-rise residentail buildings in cities. Secondly, it also make area less crowdy. To justify it, people gathered under one roof makes the surrounded area more clean and clear which will be use for other purposes. Hence, way of living is enhance with extravagent facilities.

On the contrary, many tall apartments face issue regarding water and electricity. To explain this, one house electricity problem caused trouble other houses as well because the system work systmatically here and the same menance is happen with water. Consequently, many people you are working might face problem of noise in building mainly during the festive season which create disturbance among them. in separate living houses these problems is denyble.

In conclusion, Although, urban area face immense problems by buildings in cities they would be face some trouble in their further development because some people cannot pay full amount of money as a result the building is lacking behind from maintaince charge and all other facilities which create threat among many people.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You state a partly agreeing position and give reasons on both sides, including the space-saving benefit of high-rise housing and concerns about shared utilities and noise. These points are relevant to the question, but the response only partially develops the central issue of whether tall blocks are the best way to provide enough homes. For example, the claim that residents under one roof make the surrounding area “more clean and clear” is not clearly explained, and the conclusion shifts to affordability and maintenance without resolving your position. Develop each main reason with a clear explanation or a specific example, and make the conclusion directly summarise why you partly agree.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The response has a recognisable introduction, two body paragraphs presenting contrasting points, and a conclusion. Basic signposting such as “On the contrary” and “In conclusion” helps readers follow the intended structure. However, progression within paragraphs is often unclear: the first body paragraph moves from construction costs to crowding and cleanliness without showing how each point supports the claim about providing enough homes. Some linking phrases, including “To justify it” and “Consequently,” do not clearly express the relationship between the ideas that follow. The conclusion also introduces new points rather than drawing together the discussion. Organise each paragraph around one main claim, then explain and illustrate it before moving on.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt topic-related vocabulary, including “high-rise residential buildings,” “electricity,” “noise,” and “maintenance charge,” and use some less common expressions such as “first and foremost.” However, spelling errors and inaccurate word choices are frequent enough to make parts of the message difficult to understand: “luxiourious,” “accessabilities,” “amenties,” and “denyble” are examples. Some combinations are also unnatural, such as “best living experience of life” and “makes the surrounded area more clean and clear.” Aim for accurate, natural collocations rather than adding elaborate wording. Proofread spelling and choose direct expressions such as “housing supply,” “shared utilities,” and “maintenance costs” to communicate your ideas more precisely.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including a contrastive opening with “However” and a reason clause beginning “because.” Nevertheless, complex structures are often faulty, and frequent errors in agreement, verb forms, articles, and sentence boundaries can make meaning difficult to follow. For instance, “it consume less space” needs subject–verb agreement, while “the system work” and “the same menance is happen” contain incorrect verb forms. The final sentence beginning “Although” is also incomplete or awkwardly joined to the main clause. Practise building shorter, accurate sentences first, then combine ideas with correctly formed clauses. Check each sentence for a clear subject and verb, and use punctuation to separate complete thoughts.
