Student answer (Band 5.5)
With the advacement in urbanization, the finest method to fulfill housing requirement is by constructing tall housing schemes as the aparment blocks.I strongly agree with the statement as, this will be benefitted as a environmental friendly method and help to accomodate several people wich in turn helps in productivity.
On the one hand, the natural space is limited and to bulit seperate houses in horizontally require more destruction of precious green space.By construction apartments will fulfill the housing requirement along with nature protective way. This will save the green space for the public to use ,while fulfilling the housing demands. For example, skyline apartments with a large green park helps to protect eco-system with more balance in nature.
Furthermore, tall apartments carry advantages to the society by helping to provide solutions for the problem of people to live in far away from cities. Because of the availability of aparments many people will tend to settle in the cities leading to reduce time spend on roads to reach the city. For instance, Mumbai city in India has the highest population with more industrialisation and productivity
.
In conclusion, although constructing tall apartment blocks accompanied with increase population density, it serves as alternative approach to save the environment. Hence, development of skyline apartment blocks help to deal with urbanization by providing the housing requirmenys of the large cities.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
Your position is clear: you strongly agree that tall apartment blocks can help meet housing needs, and you give relevant reasons about preserving green space and reducing travel from distant areas. The examples of a park beside apartments and Mumbai help connect the discussion to real situations. However, the second reason is not fully explained: the link between apartment availability, people settling in cities, and improved productivity or reduced travel needs clearer development. The conclusion also repeats the main point rather than adding a final insight. The response is 25 words below the required minimum, so there is limited space to develop and support your ideas. Extend each main point with a specific explanation or example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion. The progression from environmental benefits to access to city employment is generally easy to follow, and phrases such as “On the one hand,” “Furthermore” and “In conclusion” signal the stages of the argument. Some connections are less clear or mechanical, however. For example, “Because of the availability of apartments many people will tend to settle in the cities leading to reduce time spend on roads” compresses several ideas without clearly showing how they relate. The example about Mumbai also ends abruptly. Develop each paragraph around one fully explained point, and use linking phrases to clarify relationships rather than simply announce a new point.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You attempt topic-related vocabulary, including “urbanization,” “green space,” “population density” and “industrialisation,” which gives the response an appropriate subject focus. There is also some effort to use less common expressions, such as “eco-system” and “housing schemes.” However, spelling errors and imprecise or unnatural combinations are noticeable, including “advacement,” “accomodate,” “nature protective way” and “housing requirmenys.” These sometimes make the reader pause, even though the overall meaning remains understandable. Aim for accurate, natural collocations and check spelling carefully. For example, “an environmentally friendly approach” is more idiomatic than “a environmental friendly method,” while “meet housing demand” is more natural than “fulfill housing requirement.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You use both simple statements and attempts at more complex structures, including “although constructing tall apartment blocks…” and a relative clause in “which in turn helps in productivity.” The overall meaning is usually recoverable, but some sentence structures and grammatical patterns are inaccurate. For instance, “to bulit seperate houses in horizontally require” has an incorrect infinitive form and an unclear subject–verb pattern; “leading to reduce time spend on roads” also needs a different verb construction. Articles and agreement are inconsistent, as in “as, this will be benefitted as a environmental friendly method.” Review infinitives, gerunds, subject–verb agreement and article use, then proofread punctuation and sentence boundaries. More accurate complex sentences would make your reasoning clearer.
