Student answer (Band 5.5)
The ideal way to provide maximum homes in large cities is to develop tall apartment building blocks. I strongly disagree with this statement. Because this thing can make multiple crucial problems. It increase in traffic which lead to be over population. Heavy construction leads to be cost increased to lived in urban cities.
To begin, It's a very pathetic idea that to build tall building to provide maximum residence in large cities. The more house build means the more families come and this will cause over populate the urban city which makes more complexibility in traffic. Furthermore, more traffic leads to be more consumption of oil and fuel which make air pollution which cause the several health effects. For example, Lahore is most air polluted city in the world beacuse of there over population and unstopable construction to developing new housing socities and building appartments.
In addition, For construction of new buildings wants heavy amounts of money which partically; lead to impose more taxes on the civilians. Moreover, this can change automatically into the particular turn things into high thrush holds. Addiotionally, The low earned people get more pressured by make this development. for instance, Government should have to develop new homes outside the big cities. Make better public transport system which can be ease for the people to lived and to also earn from big city. This can be happen by government proper policies.
In conclusion, i disagree

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
Your position is clear: you strongly disagree with relying on tall apartment blocks, and you give relevant concerns about traffic, pollution, construction costs and pressure on lower-income residents. The Lahore example helps connect your argument to a real city. However, the response only partly develops the task: it does not compare tall blocks with other ways of providing homes in enough detail, and the suggestion to build outside cities and improve public transport is introduced briefly rather than explained. The conclusion also repeats your position without summarising your main reasons. The response is 11 words below the required minimum, which limits the space available to develop your ideas. Explain how your alternatives would provide enough housing and support each point with clearer reasoning or an example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion. Paragraphs generally group related points, and connectors such as “To begin,” “Furthermore” and “In addition” show an attempt to guide the reader. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes difficult to follow: the discussion moves from construction costs to taxes, then to an unclear claim about “high thrush holds,” before proposing transport and housing policies. Some linking phrases are used mechanically or do not clearly express the relationship between ideas. The very brief conclusion does not bring the argument together. Organise each body paragraph around one main reason, explain it step by step, and use clear references and transitions to show how each point supports your position.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “air pollution,” “public transport,” “construction” and “over population,” so the reader can identify the main concerns. However, the range is limited and several inaccurate word choices or collocations make parts of the argument unclear, such as “maximum homes,” “more complexibility in traffic” and “high thrush holds.” Spelling errors, including “beacuse,” “unstopable” and “appartments,” also reduce accuracy. Aim for precise, natural phrases rather than translating ideas word by word; for example, describe increased traffic congestion or higher housing costs. Proofreading for spelling and checking unfamiliar expressions in context would make your meaning easier to follow.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple statements and longer cause-and-effect sentences, for example, “The more house build means the more families come and this will cause…” This shows an effort to connect ideas, but the range is limited and errors are frequent enough to make some sentences difficult to understand. Examples include “It increase in traffic,” “which lead to be over population,” and “the more house build,” where subject–verb agreement, verb forms and sentence construction are faulty. The opening fragment “Because this thing can make multiple crucial problems” is also not a complete sentence. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then combine them using clauses such as “which” and “because.” Check agreement, articles, plurals and verb forms during revision.
