Student answer (Band 6.0)
In this fast paced world, population is incresing day by day, so making tall apartment blocks is best way to provide enough homes in modern cities. I am completely agree with the give statement and discuss in upcoming paragraphs before reaching at a reasonable conclusion.
To begin with, there is no doubt that nowadays people are moving to cities for getting jobs which make cities more congested, so by building tall apartment blocks can help to live more people together under one roof. For example, 30 storey apartment can provide accommodation to thousand of families. Secondly, making a own house in city is very expensive for everyone . so shared land and infrastructure costs may lower costs per unit. As a result, people do not need to spend more money to live better life in cities.
Moreover, most of apartment has under ground parking for people who live there and visitor parking for relatives, which can be helpful to reduce parking and traffic issue on every street as well prople can give more perference to public transportation to go work and others because they live near to jobs and other activities. The recent survey has been conducted, for example, in new delhi last year which showed more than hundred high buildings has been built that assist people to live new to work within the five minute walk. Resultly, tall buliding assist people to not only save money but also decrease traffic.
To sum up, there are the main reasons why am agree with installing tall appartments in cities.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
Your position is clear from the introduction: you completely agree that tall apartment blocks are the best way to provide homes, and the conclusion returns to this view. You give relevant reasons, including accommodating many families on limited land, sharing infrastructure costs, and living closer to work. The example of a 30-storey building helps illustrate capacity, while the Delhi survey is intended to support the point about proximity. This covers the task and shows some development beyond simply stating an opinion. To make the response more fully developed, explain the evidence and reasoning more precisely: for instance, clarify how apartment living reduces traffic, and compare it with alternatives such as building outwards or improving transport. Some claims remain broad or unclear, so the support does not consistently extend the ideas.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs presenting reasons, and a concluding statement. Sequencing phrases such as “To begin with,” “Secondly,” “Moreover,” and “To sum up” make the progression easy to follow. However, cohesion is sometimes mechanical, and links between ideas are not always clear. In the second body paragraph, parking, public transport, proximity to jobs, and the survey are combined in a long sequence, making the relationship among these points difficult to track. The conclusion is also very brief and does not bring the main reasons together. Give each paragraph a clearer central focus, use shorter sentences where several points are joined, and make references such as “which” and “that” clearly identify the idea they refer to.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use a relevant range of vocabulary for the topic, including “congested,” “accommodation,” “infrastructure costs,” and “public transportation.” These choices help communicate ideas about urban housing and show attempts to use more specific language. However, noticeable spelling and word-choice errors reduce precision, including “incresing,” “perference,” “Resultly,” and “appartments.” Some combinations are also unnatural, such as “live better life” and “give more preference to public transportation.” Aim to learn common collocations as complete phrases and check spelling carefully. More precise terms for the effects of high-rise housing would also help you explain your argument without relying on broad expressions such as “traffic issue” or “save money.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, including clauses beginning with “so,” “which,” and “because,” and most of the main ideas remain understandable. However, errors in sentence structure and grammatical forms are frequent enough to make some sentences awkward or difficult to process. For example, “I am completely agree” needs a different verb form, and “by building tall apartment blocks can help” lacks a clear grammatical subject. There are also problems with articles, agreement, and plurals in phrases such as “a own house,” “most of apartment,” and “thousand of families.” Work on building complete clauses with an explicit subject and verb, then check agreement and article use. Breaking up the longest sentences would also improve control.
