Student answer (Band 5.0)
In recent years, the importance of give homes in big cities has attracted considerable attention worldwide, some individuals believe that the great way to provide enough houses in metropolis is to build tall apartment buildings. However I firmly agree with this statement because this development is essential for environment and also helpful to reduced traffic congection.
One important reason why tall buildings are crucial is that because it offers several advantages to individulas and society. in other words, it allows people to safe their environment which improve their overall quality of life. For examlpe, extra coverd areas can causes the big source of land pollution because households garbuge alwas throw to the streets and it creat harmfull deseases for the community and inrelevent land coverag sould be baned and promote the evolution of tall buildingd beildings the skeyskeypers are the recognations of the society.
On the other hand , another significant reason why should apartments be tall. This is mainly because it helps to decline traffic congection to reduce their possible problems. For example, the congested houses are may be the the cause of traffic hurdles and effet the public routs that is why the bulidings sho . This approach may alwas be practical and effective on long run.
In conclusion, although both view points have their valid arguments,I strongly believe that is beneficial . Therefore it would be advisable for people to consider this option in order to avhieve positive outcomes

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
You state a clear position in the introduction—“I firmly agree”—and give two reasons, relating tall buildings to environmental benefits and reduced traffic congestion. However, the response only partially develops the task: the first example about rubbish and land pollution is difficult to connect to high-rise housing, while the traffic paragraph does not explain how taller apartments would reduce congestion. The conclusion repeats your view but does not summarise a developed argument. The response is also 8 words below the required minimum. To strengthen your answer, explain the mechanism behind each benefit and add a relevant, specific example, such as how building upwards can preserve land for parks or place more residents near public transport.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
Your response has a recognisable essay structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion. You also use signposting such as “One important reason,” “On the other hand” and “In conclusion.” However, the progression within the body paragraphs is difficult to follow because ideas are not clearly linked: the discussion of land pollution shifts abruptly to banning land coverage and skyscrapers, and the traffic example ends with an incomplete thought (“that is why the bulidings sho”). Some linking phrases are also inaccurate or do not express the relationship intended; “On the other hand” introduces another supporting reason rather than a contrasting view. Organise each paragraph around one clear claim, explain it, then give a connected example.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “metropolis,” “quality of life,” “traffic congestion” and “skyscrapers,” and you try to express ideas about environmental effects and urban housing. However, spelling errors and inaccurate word choices are frequent enough to make parts of the argument difficult to understand, for example “congection,” “garbuge,” “harmfull deseases” and “inrelevent land coverag.” Some phrases are also unnatural or unclear, such as “safe their environment” and “the great way.” Aim for accurate, straightforward wording before using more ambitious expressions. Proofread spelling carefully and check collocations, for example “reduce traffic congestion” and “provide enough housing,” so your intended meaning is clear.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a reason clause beginning “because” and a conditional-style statement with “This approach may…”. However, control is inconsistent, and several sentences contain errors that make the meaning hard to follow. Examples include “the importance of give homes,” “it allows people to safe their environment,” and “the congested houses are may be the the cause.” There are also problems with sentence boundaries and punctuation, such as the comma splice after “worldwide” and the fragment “that is why the bulidings sho.” Practise forming complete sentences with a clear subject and verb, and check agreement, verb forms, articles and punctuation before submitting.
