Student answer (Band 5.5)

Now a days many people migrated to large cities for good ooportunities this will cause the large population in these cities. I am agree to build tall appartments blocks to fullfill homes requirements beacasue of some factors includes fullfil demand of living facility and to control rental or purchase prices.

In the rural areas there are very less opportunites for healthcare, education, jobs and entertainments. Looking for better opprtunities many people every year migrated from rural to big cities. They definitely requires the living place as it has there basic which will cause high demands of living places includes rooms, gusest houses etc. The idea of build separate homes will not fullfill this demands becase of every years many people migrated into cities. To meet this demands we must needf to bulid tall appartments block to solve this issue. On the land area where only 1 or 2 homes are build we can build tall appartments with large capacity of rooms. This will easily accomodate many people.

We know that when the demands of homes has increased then prices also climed to sky. So, it will cause difficult to afford homes at high rates for purchasing as well as for rental purposes. By build tall appartments we can eassily manage the prices in control and appartments are available for affordable prices. Because when people move there staring phase is very hard in term of finance. They are may be in jobs recuring phase and before job they needs to spend on there savings. Low cost appartments give them some sort of mental peace and they will survive there strugling time more easily.

In conclusion i must say that to fullfil demands of living numbers of migrants in the big cities and to manage the cost of living the ultimate solution is to build tall appartments blocks.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

Your position is clear: you agree that tall apartment blocks are the best way to meet housing needs, and you give two relevant reasons—accommodating migration to cities and helping keep housing affordable. The explanation that more homes can be built on land currently occupied by “only 1 or 2 homes” is a useful supporting point. However, some ideas are less fully developed than others. For example, you assert that apartment construction will “manage the prices in control” but do not explain how supply would affect rents or purchase prices, or acknowledge factors such as construction costs and location. The discussion of migrants’ financial difficulties is relevant but could be linked more explicitly to the proposed solution. Develop these points with clearer reasoning or a specific example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a coherent overall arrangement: the introduction states your view, each body paragraph presents a separate reason, and the conclusion restates your position. This makes the main line of argument easy to follow. You also use linking expressions such as “In the rural areas,” “So,” and “In conclusion.” At times, however, connections are mechanical or unclear. For instance, “They definitely requires the living place as it has there basic” makes the relationship between migration and housing difficult to follow, while repeated references to “demands” and “cities” make the progression feel repetitive. Use clearer referencing and vary transitions; ensure each paragraph moves from its main claim to explanation and then to a concrete example.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use vocabulary relevant to urban housing, including “rural areas,” “opportunities,” “accommodate,” “affordable prices,” and “rental purposes.” These choices show that you can discuss the topic and communicate your main ideas. However, the range is limited and several spelling, word-form, and collocation errors are noticeable, sometimes making the reader pause. Examples include “appartments,” “fullfill,” “climed to sky,” and “manage the prices in control.” Some phrases are also imprecise, such as “living numbers of migrants” and “jobs recuring phase.” Build a more accurate set of topic collocations, such as “housing demand,” “high-rise apartment buildings,” and “keep housing costs affordable,” and check spelling and word forms carefully.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a reason clause with “because” and a conditional structure beginning “when the demands of homes has increased.” The overall meaning is generally recoverable, but some errors in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence construction reduce accuracy. For example, “I am agree” should be “I agree,” and “many people every year migrated” needs a consistent tense, such as “many people migrate every year.” In “They definitely requires,” the subject and verb do not agree; “they” takes “require.” Some sentences also contain unclear or incomplete grammatical relationships, as in “as it has there basic.” Practise accurate clause construction and review agreement and tense choices while retaining your attempts at complex sentences.
