Student answer (Band 5.5)
High rising apartments are the solution for home crisis in bigger cities providing enough flats for people. While some individuals may disagree, but i think this is completely resonable, As higher buiding will use more space in air as compared to land and also saving many costs, and more land space is left free for more constructions.
Building appartments on top of one is phenomenal idea, As people get to have their own house. Along this, it is more economical, As individual gets to share the maintainance and other costs with the resident of the building, which is quite cost affective. A person living in the banglow of 1200 square feet will have to pay for the expences for maintaing the security, garden and many more. In apparment blocks the amount of these expences might be huge as compared to a single banglow, but after getting distributed amoung all flats, it becomes way less and saves alot of money.
In bigger cities the population usually surges the most, As people do migrate there in search of jobs and business to earn money. when individuals shift to one city this creates crisis for homes, but also bring out the opportunity. Constructing tall building for appartment will also save the land for more project, accounting to many new appartments for people, and thus lowering the overall crisis .
In conclusion, tall building appartments are the solution for home crisis. It provides more quantity of flats with less overall costs and free up space for more construction in future.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You take a clear position in favour of tall apartment blocks and give relevant reasons: they use land efficiently, can reduce shared maintenance costs, and may help accommodate people moving to cities. The example comparing a 1,200-square-foot bungalow with flats makes the cost argument more concrete. This addresses the question, but some points are asserted rather than fully explained. In particular, the claim that building upwards leaves land available for further construction needs clarification, since the essay does not explain how that land would be used or why this is better than other housing approaches. Develop each reason with a clearer cause-and-effect explanation or a specific example, and briefly acknowledge a limitation of high-rise housing to make the argument more fully supported.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction states your view, two body paragraphs present reasons, and the conclusion restates your position. The progression from cost savings to population growth is understandable, and phrases such as “Along this” and “In conclusion” signal relationships between ideas. However, some connections are mechanical or unclear. For example, “While some individuals may disagree, but…” uses competing contrast markers, and “but also bring out the opportunity” does not clearly connect the population increase to the proposed solution. The second body paragraph also repeats the idea of saving land without extending it much. Use more precise links between claims and explanations, and ensure each paragraph develops a distinct point.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use a relevant range of housing and urban-development vocabulary, including “apartment blocks,” “population,” “migrate,” “maintenance,” and “construction.” These choices make your main ideas understandable, and “economical” and “distributed” show attempts to use more formal language. However, spelling errors and imprecise or unnatural combinations are noticeable, including “resonable,” “buiding,” “cost affective,” and “crisis for homes.” Some wording is also repetitive, particularly “tall building apartments” and “more construction.” Aim for accurate spelling and more natural collocations, such as “housing shortage” and “high-rise buildings.” A wider set of precise terms for housing supply and urban land use would help you express the argument more flexibly.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, including a subordinate clause beginning “As people do migrate there…” and a comparison between bungalow and apartment costs. The overall meaning is usually recoverable, but sentence control is uneven. For example, “While some individuals may disagree, but i think…” combines two incompatible clause patterns, while “As higher buiding will use…” is an incomplete construction. There are also errors in articles, agreement, and punctuation, as in “Building appartments on top of one is phenomenal idea” and the lower-case “when” after a full stop. Work on forming complete clauses, using one appropriate connector at a time, and checking articles and subject–verb agreement. More accurate complex sentences would make your reasoning easier to follow.
