Student answer (Band 5.0)
In contemporary society many people believe that the most reliable path is to construct tall apartment blocks for homes in large cities is .I strong believe this view to built apartments, is the good way of providing home in bigger cities because of enormous number of population in which every person does not afford houses or space can be shorter for shelters apartments covered basic aspect of house which regarded as best option for living.
Another reason is inflation with the passage of time. Inflation rise a lot including taxes and electricty bills as well as rates of buying land increase which are not affordable for middle class man. For exmaple a man whose average sallery is 3 to five lakh per anum he didnt afford the price of land.
On the other hand, some people believe that constructing of apartments take a lot space and it leads towards higher risk of increasing in population that results of noise pollution and traffic increase in tarffic propotional to pollution. This gretaer impact of traffic indirectly reflect timings of schools or jobs. For example, due to heavy tarffic people got late from their schools and jobs which is not a good impact on their lives.
In conclusion, building apartments as homes in large cities have a benifit to people who dont afford lands or big houses. On theother site some people dont agree with this statment beacuse of havey traffic and major increase in population.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You take a position in favour of apartment blocks, especially in the opening and conclusion, and give relevant points about population pressure, housing affordability and traffic. However, the position is not consistently clear: the opening sentence is difficult to interpret, and the conclusion introduces opposition without clearly explaining how it relates to your own view. The affordability point is supported by a brief example, but the claim that apartments are the best option is not developed with a clear explanation of how they provide more homes or use urban land efficiently. The traffic argument is relevant but does not directly show why tall blocks are a worse solution. The response is also 7 words below the required minimum. Develop each reason with clearer explanation and support to address the task more fully.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
Your response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs presenting different considerations, and a conclusion. Paragraphing helps the reader identify the main stages of the argument, and phrases such as “On the other hand” and “In conclusion” signal transitions. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes unclear. For example, the first paragraph moves from population size to affordability and then to the general suitability of apartments without clearly connecting these points. The traffic paragraph also shifts from apartment construction to population growth and school or work delays. Some linking is mechanical, and the conclusion repeats the opposing view rather than resolving the discussion. Use clearer topic sentences and explain the relationship between each supporting example and its main point.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “apartment blocks,” “inflation,” “middle class,” “noise pollution” and “traffic,” so the reader can identify the subject of your argument. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations make ideas difficult to understand, such as “space can be shorter for shelters apartments” and “traffic proportional to pollution.” Spelling errors, including “electricty,” “exmaple,” “sallery” and “benifit,” also reduce accuracy. Some phrases are repeated, particularly references to people not being able to afford land or houses. Build a more precise vocabulary for housing and urban planning, and check spelling and natural word combinations. For example, describe land as “scarce” and explain that apartment buildings can “accommodate more residents.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentence forms, including a sentence beginning “On the other hand” and examples introduced with “For example.” However, complex sentences are often faulty, and frequent errors in verb forms, agreement, articles and sentence construction can make the meaning difficult to follow. For instance, “I strong believe this view to built apartments” lacks a correct verb pattern, while “Inflation rise a lot” has an incorrect verb form. The opening sentence also contains an incomplete or misplaced construction, and punctuation is inconsistent, including the space before the full stop in “is .I”. Practise building accurate basic sentences first, then connect them with clauses using correct forms such as “I strongly believe that building apartments is…” and “Inflation has risen.”
