Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 4.0

The response fails to meet the minimum word count requirement of 150 words, which significantly impacts the task achievement score. While you have identified some key features of the cafe redesign, such as the changes in the kitchen and the addition of outdoor seating, the report is underdeveloped. You have missed several details from the plans and failed to provide a clear overview or summary of the main trends. The inclusion of subjective commentary, such as 'the cafe look is amazing now to attract more costumer', is inappropriate for an Academic Task 1 report, which requires an objective summary of the visual data.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The response is divided into very short paragraphs, but the logical progression is weak. You use basic cohesive devices like 'furthermore' and 'it can be observed that', but these are repetitive and do not always connect ideas effectively. The lack of a clear structure makes the report feel like a list of observations rather than a cohesive summary. Referencing is sometimes unclear, and the overall arrangement of information lacks the necessary flow expected in a formal report.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is quite limited and repetitive. You rely on basic terms such as 'area', 'changed', and 'look'. There are several spelling errors, such as 'redesingned', 'desinging', 'recycyling', 'fpr', 'barbacue', and 'costumer', which hinder the readability of the text. To improve, you need to use a wider range of vocabulary related to describing changes, such as 'transformed', 'converted', 'relocated', or 'expanded', and ensure that your spelling is accurate.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The grammatical range is limited, consisting mostly of simple sentence structures. There are frequent errors in subject-verb agreement and article usage, such as 'the given maps illustrates', 'two dining room', and 'a seperate space fpr barbacue is build'. These errors are persistent and sometimes make the meaning difficult to follow. You should focus on mastering basic sentence construction and ensuring that your verbs are correctly conjugated and that plural/singular forms are used consistently.
