Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 6.0)

This chart illustrates the changes in a college cafe and depicts the development that shows the difference between initial design and the redesigned plan.

Overall this plan shows the major changes that occurred after the redesign of the college cafe. Although some area in the cafe remain untouched, new spots have been added to the cafe. This shows that major development has been made to the cafe.

It is evident that there have been a lot of improvements in the college cafe after the redesign. We can notice that staff dining rooms are redeveloped into a coffee bar and take away food spot. Moreover the kitchen area previously had a serving area for food and drinks which is now changed into hot meals area.

Previously there was no salad bar in the cafe but now its is constructed right below the kitchen area. Furthermore we can also notice the barbeque area that is being constructed outside the cafe which also has a outdoor seating area for the customers.
