Student answer (Band 6.0)

The given layout illustrates a college cafe before reconstruction and how it looks at the moment.

Overall, main cafe building remains same and has lots of changes inside and also added outdoor seating area.

To began with, older cafe has simple design it includes main hall which has seating area for customer's , only has one entry point and left side of entrance has bin and besides it has toilets, also has dining rooms for staff members and on top side their is kitchen which has all type of serving from one counter.

However, newer cafe has many new things in it like staff dining is replaced by take away zone and coffee bar, in addition bin is replaced by recycling unit and kitchen now has new counter for hot meals some new add on's are outdoor seating in addition with barbecue counter and also has new counter in main hall which is salad bar.
