Student answer (Band 7.0)

The layout demonstrates the layout plan of a college cafe in the past and at present. Overall, there is some transformation indoor and extension of the outdoor area.

Regarding the floor plan at the left top corner, the kitchen remains unchanged, while the serving area for all food and drink is swapped for hot meals at present.

Looking into the main area, a new salad bar is built at the left side. Moreover, the two staff dining rooms are altered into one take away food room on the left and one coffee bar on the right. Furthermore, the bin area on the right side is extended to a bigger room for recycling bins currently. The toilets at the right bottom corner and also the tables and chairs at the center are unchanged.

The most significant change is a new barbecue room at the left bottom corner. Also, a large outdoor seating area with 5 tables and 26 seats are added, with two new entrances are constructed for the convenience of clients using the extended outdoor facilities.
