Student answer (Band 6.0)
The plans illustrate a college cafe before it was redesigned and how it looks now.
Overall, in both plans some places remains same as it is, while they have introduced some new places after redevelopment. Also, they replaced some areas with different places.
In both plans some areas like kitchen, doors and toilets remain same on their places. In the old plan they had a serving area opposite the kitchen for all food and drink, now which serves only hot meals. Previously, there were two staff dining rooms near serving area, which now use for take away food and coffee bar. Also, they opened a new salad bar on the west side of plan and replaced a small bin with bigger recycling bins. Indoor tables and chairs take place as it is.
On the the south side of the new plan they have arranged outdoor seating area, which has access through south side of the plan. Moreover, they have arranged a barbeque counter on the west side of the outdoor area.
