The two plan illustrates the layout of a college cafe before and after its redesigned.

Overall, the cafe has underground a substantial reorganisation, with several new food and drink facilities being intorduced and an outdoor seating area added. However, the kitchen, toilets and main indoor seating area have remained largely unchanged.

In the northern part of the cafe, the kitchen has remained it its original position, although the former servering area has been converted into a hot-meal section. The two dining rooms immediately to the east of the kitchen have been removed and replaced by a take-away food area and a coffee bar.On the eastern side, the original bin has also been replaced, with recyling bins now provided in its place, The tolites, however, remain in the south-eastern corner.

Several additional facilites have been introduced elsewhere. A salad bar has been installed along the western wall, while a barbecue area has been added outside the cafe. The redesigned has also created an outdoor seating area directly in front of the building, providing space for a number of tables and chairs. Despite these changes, the main indoor tables and chairs area has been retained.
