Student answer (Band 6.0)
The plans below illustrates a college cafeteria before and after the renovation, with some changes and development.
Overall, the cafe has been expanded now with an addition of outdoor seating. Moreover, a few changes have been inside the cafe with a replacement of dining rooms with coffee bar and take away food.
The cafe before redesign was simple with tables and chairs in the middle and toilets at the left corner near to the recycling bin. Furthermore, after the renovation, the kithcen is in its place but the serving area got replaced with hot meals counter. Staff dining rooms have been converted into the coffee bar and take away food, whereas there is an addition of salad bar in the left beside the kitchen.
On the other hand, a barbecue counter is now opened with an extra outdoor seating outside the cafeteria. Two table are placed horizontally with a sitting of six people, while two are placed vertically with 4 chairs.
