Student answer (Band 6.0)
The map illustrates how the college cafe has changed after redesigned.
Overall, cafe underwent a significiant transformation with several new relocated and replaced area. However, some features remained unchanged. Tables and chairs area stayed unchanged with some changes and outdoor seating is newly constructed.
Before the redesign, the cafe consisted of several areas including, the kitchen and serving area of all food and drinks located in the north-west side of the cafe. Tables and chairs situated in the main area, two staff dining rooms were in the north side. Furthermore, bin was placed in east side and toilets were positioned in the south-east side.
After the redesign, there are numerous changes such as, kitchen is remained same but serving area replaced by hot meals section. Salad bar newly built in the west side of the cafe. Moreover, tables and chairs area remaind stable, staff dining room transformed into take away food and coffee bar. In additon, bin area replaced by recycling bin and toilets are remained in the south east area.
