This map illustrates the area of cafe before and after with changing and redesign new food counter setting areas and rest rooms . in general way this map gives us all the necessary information of cafe in past or now .

Looking at the details, kitchen is simple having all the meals in one counter before redesigning of cafe , wsier and simpler place for tables and chairs ,common toilet ,and just a single dustbin where as , in new cafe after redesigning cafe has more partitions and portions seperate barbececua, salad bar ,hot meals at the place of dinning a separate portion for take away and coffee bar ,the location is toilet and bin is same but wider.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

The response covers the main changes shown in the two maps, noting the transformation of the kitchen counter into hot meals, the replacement of staff dining rooms with a take-away food area and coffee bar, the addition of a salad bar, outdoor seating, and a barbecue. However, the overview and body paragraphs lack clarity and precise detail. For instance, the phrase 'old cafe area and redesign cafe area is same' is somewhat confusing regarding what is being compared. Furthermore, the description contains vague phrasings like 'kitchen is simple having all the meals in one counter'. While the main features are identified, the development of these points is limited and lacks the precise spatial referencing expected at higher bands. Therefore, this performance aligns with Band 5.0.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The text is divided into an introduction, a body paragraph, and a conclusion, fulfilling basic structural requirements. However, logical progression is frequently disrupted by poor sentence boundary punctuation and run-on sentences, such as 'in general way this map gives us all the necessary information of cafe in past or now .' Cohesive devices are minimal and often awkward, as seen with 'where as' and 'Looking at the details, kitchen is simple...'. Paragraphing is attempted, but internal cohesion is weak due to a lack of clear referencing and punctuation errors. These issues place the response firmly at Band 5.0.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

The vocabulary used is basic and repetitive, frequently relying on simple terms like 'map', 'area', 'cafe', and 'place'. There are notable lexical inaccuracies and awkward word choices, such as 'barbececua' (misspelling of barbecue), 'redesign cafe', and 'architecure' (misspelling of architecture). Less common vocabulary is attempted with words like 'partitions', 'redesigned', and 'recalling' (though not present, similar attempts are made), but poor word formation and spelling errors ('seperate', 'decoreted') prevent the score from rising higher. The lexical range is minimally adequate for the task, corresponding to Band 5.0.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.0

The response features a very limited range of grammatical structures. Most sentences are poorly constructed run-ons with missing articles, incorrect prepositions, and persistent punctuation errors. Examples include 'the location is toilet and bin is same' and 'one`s who enjoy open air'. Subordinate clauses are attempted but are frequently faulty and lack proper punctuation control. Errors are frequent and often cause difficulty for the reader in parsing the intended meaning, which matches the descriptors for Band 4.0.
