Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 6.0)

The maps illustrate the difference of college food court between present form and before it was modified.

Overall, the cafe underwent significant changes with serving area being replaced by hot meals. Subsequently, staff dining room was demolished and transformed into take away food and coffee bar. in addition, salad bar was added. In contrast, toilets remained unchanged.

Starting with the north-western side of the food court, serving area containing food and drink was replaced by hot meals. While, kitchen remained unchanged.

Moving to the south-western area of the cafe, a salad bar was added. Meanwhile, a new barbecue station was introduced in the southern area along with outdoor seating. In the centre, staff dining rooms were demolished and transformed into take away food and coffee bar stations. In addition, area for tables and chairs remained the same. Whereas, the south-eastern area of the cafe also underwent some changes, with bins being replaced by recycling bins. While, toilets reamined unchanged.
