The college cafe before redesigning looks very simple because it is underprocess of upgrading the cafe before has a very basic construction and only few tables and chair are places there by this many people faces difficulties due to so much crowd of people in first cafe serving area where all foods and drinks are availlable is located on other side but when it is upgraded the new cafe is replaced the serving area by kitchen where all foods are availlable hot meals are also availlable there. while in existing cafe staff dining room is also replaced by a portion which is divided into two one is take away food and other is coffee bar new cafe also increase the quantity of outdoor seating also bin is replaced by recylcle bins also barbecue is availlable in new cafe other than old cafe salad bar is aslo included in new cafe which entertain the people to enjoy different foods.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You identify several important changes, including the replacement of the staff dining rooms with takeaway and coffee areas, the addition of a salad bar and barbecue, and the change from a bin to recycling bins. However, the account is only partly clear and does not give a reliable overall picture of the redesign. For example, the kitchen did not replace the serving area: the kitchen remained in the same corner, while its counter became a hot-meals counter. You also mention outdoor seating but do not describe its location or the new access doors, and the toilets and central seating area are not covered. A clearer overview of what stayed the same and what was added or altered, followed by accurate details of the main changes, would strengthen the response.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0
The response contains a sequence of relevant comparisons, but the ideas are crowded into one long paragraph and do not form a clear progression. The repeated use of “also” and the linking phrase “while” makes the relationships between changes difficult to follow; for instance, the sentence beginning “while in existing cafe” moves through several features without clear boundaries. Some references, such as “other side,” are also unclear because the reader is not told which side is meant. Organise the report into a brief overview and separate details about the interior and outdoor changes. Use full stops to divide ideas, and choose precise links such as “In addition” or “By contrast” only where they accurately show the relationship.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some task-relevant vocabulary, including “staff dining room,” “take away food,” “coffee bar,” “outdoor seating” and “recycle bins,” so the main subject is generally recognisable. However, the range is limited and several word choices or spellings reduce precision, including “underprocess of upgrading,” “quantity of outdoor seating,” “availlable” and “recylcle.” “Quantity” is not a natural way to describe the new outdoor area, and “replaced the serving area by kitchen” does not accurately express the change shown. Aim for precise plan-description vocabulary and check spelling. Terms such as “remained,” “was converted into,” “was added” and “outdoor dining area” would help you report changes more clearly.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
There is an attempt to connect ideas in longer sentences, but control is weak: the response is largely one run-on sentence, and complex structures often become difficult to interpret. Examples include “when it is upgraded the new cafe is replaced the serving area by kitchen” and “staff dining room is also replaced by a portion which is divided into two.” These contain problems with verb forms and sentence construction, while missing articles and plural forms also appear in “only few tables and chair.” Punctuation is insufficient, particularly around clauses introduced by “while” and “also.” Use shorter, complete sentences with a clear subject and verb, and practise accurate past-tense passive forms such as “The staff rooms were replaced by…”
