Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You address the topic by presenting reasons for both views, including online access and the economic and cultural value of cinemas and theatres. Your own position becomes clear in the conclusion, where you say they “play vital role,” but the opening promises to discuss both views “without made any concluion,” which makes your stance unclear at first. The online-entertainment argument is especially brief: it mainly says people can watch anything online, without explaining why this makes venues less important. The points about tourism, ticket income and cultural promotion are relevant, but several are asserted rather than explained or supported with a specific example. Develop each side more evenly and state your opinion consistently from the introduction onward.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5

The response has separate paragraphs for the introduction, arguments and conclusion, and signposts such as “Moreover,” “In addition to this” and “Nevertheless” show an attempt to guide the reader. However, progression is not consistently clear: the paragraph beginning “Overall” repeats the online-view argument, while the next paragraph shifts to economic and cultural benefits without a clear comparison. Some linking phrases are inaccurate or do not show the relationship between ideas, and references such as “these objects” are unclear. The conclusion introduces a new claim about teaching people how to behave rather than drawing together the main arguments. Organise the body into a clear paragraph for each view, use precise references, and make each paragraph build toward your stated opinion.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “digital world,” “development,” “economy,” “culture,” “traditional movies” and “promote.” This gives you enough language to communicate the main subject, but the range is limited and several choices or spellings make the meaning less clear. Examples include “gadgets” for theatres and cinemas, “advertize these things” for promoting cultural attractions, and “experience to explore the world,” which is not a natural expression. There are also noticeable spelling errors such as “cnemas,” “crutial” and “ticktes.” Aim to learn accurate collocations for this topic and check spelling carefully; more precise wording will make your relevant ideas easier to understand.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt some longer structures, for example the sentence beginning “Foreigners that visit our country,” and use simple sentences to express your main points. However, the range is limited, and complex attempts are often faulty. Errors include “without made any concluion,” “other argue,” “government take advanrages,” and “It helps,” where the subject is plural. Articles and sentence boundaries also need attention: “play important role” lacks an article, and several sentences run together after full stops, as in the opening. These errors sometimes make the reader pause to interpret the intended meaning. Practise building accurate sentences with subordinate clauses, and check subject–verb agreement, articles and punctuation during revision.
