Student answer (Band 5.5)
Few indeveduals criticies that in modern era theatres and cinemas are not much significant as many people can watch all their desired entertainment online . some poeple argue that theatres and cinemas still significant finencially as well as to demonstrate our calture. in my opinion there should be a balanved approach that online source of entertaiment and in theatres and cinemas both should be considered according to requiremnt,
on the one hand online entertainment are very convenient and accesible.we dont need to make scedual or go anywhere .we can watch everything anywhere, just one think we need is internet and our device .it save alot of our time because in this modern world nothing is imprtant than our time.we should appriciate and do postive, use of this technology.
on the other hand many critics argue that theatres and cinemas are still significant because it support our economy and demostrate our calture. theatres and cinemas shows us the real talent without any modification and modern editing .there is nothing fake on theatres because everything is happening in front of us.we can make attractions and talk with our favourite actors which are performing just few feet away from us.
moreover, cinemas are also imprtant because it gives us oppotunity to spend and watch our favorite entertaimnet with our friends and family.in addition it also provide us a chance to travel with our loveones.when we go to watch a movie we make photgraphs and make beautyful momories which we remember entitre life.
in conclusion online entertaiment save our time and easily accessible and theatres and cinemas are helpful to make longterm memories and feel our calture.A balances approach works best for this idea.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You discuss both perspectives and give a position: online viewing is convenient, while cinemas and theatres offer cultural and social value, and you conclude that a balance is best. These points are relevant, but the position is not fully clear or consistently explained; the opening’s “according to requirement” does not specify when each option should be preferred. The economic claim is mentioned but not supported with an explanation or example, and the cultural argument is mainly illustrated through live performance and seeing actors nearby, rather than showing more broadly how venues preserve or express culture. Develop each side with a specific example and explain how it supports your view.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, a paragraph on online entertainment, a paragraph on venues, and a conclusion. This helps the reader follow the two views. You also use signposts such as “on the one hand,” “on the other hand,” “moreover,” and “in conclusion.” However, some connections are mechanical, and the venues paragraph shifts from economic and cultural importance to family outings without clearly linking these ideas. The conclusion repeats the main points rather than drawing them together into a precise final position. Use clearer topic sentences and connect each supporting example directly to the paragraph’s central claim; also make references such as “it” unambiguous.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “convenient,” “accessible,” “economy,” “culture,” and “memories,” and the reader can generally understand your intended meaning. However, the range is limited and several words or phrases are repeated, particularly “important/significant” and “entertainment.” There are also frequent spelling errors and inaccurate word choices, such as “demostrate our calture,” “real talent without any modification,” and “make attractions,” which make parts of the response difficult to interpret naturally. Build a more precise range for discussing cultural and economic effects, and check spelling and collocations carefully. Aim to choose words that express the intended idea directly rather than relying on broad or awkward phrases.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences, and the basic meaning is usually recoverable. However, the range of sentence structures is limited, and errors occur frequently in sentence formation, agreement, articles, and punctuation. For example, “online entertainment are very convenient” has a subject–verb agreement problem, while “it support our economy” and “it also provide us” do not match the singular subject with the verb form. Several sentences run together, such as “we can watch everything anywhere, just one think we need is internet and our device,” making the relationships between ideas unclear. Practise building accurate sentences with one main clause and a clearly connected supporting clause, then check verb agreement, articles, and sentence boundaries.
