It is believed that artificial intelligence and modern technology has impacted our lives from various perspectives. Among these, mobile phones hold great importance and everyone has access to it. Although they have benefited the individuals in many ways but we can't deny the economical and traditional values of theaters and cinemas.

On one side, the magical device, known as mobile phones have made our life so convenient that we are all to all dependent on it. Apart from communicating and playing virtual games with our siblings and relatives in other parts of the world, it has made numerous advancements in the field of entertainment. Many social media apps are operating in every country and different communities have been seen enjoying this according to their taste and that includes the elderly individuals as well. There are many platforms which provide free entertainment. For example, mothers in our homes has become habitual of watching their favorite TV shows or dramas after completing their house chores. In addition to this, if they some programs does not appeal to any individual, they can switch to the other show easily and even rewatch if they are busy and missed any of it. Therefore, we can say that the technology has given us a freedom of time as well taste.

On the other hand, if we discuss theaters and cinemas, although, they held equal importance, but it can be seen that they are experiencing a severe decline in the recent times. This is due to the reason that many of them are still giving the old vibes and taste that does not appeal to the generation of this era. Moreover, time constraints and ticket purchasing is also an issue for busy people as they have to stand in long ques. However, we can't refuse from the roots and cultural values of any nation as they are very essential. If the entertainment industry wants to flourish in terms of fame and growth, they should opt for varieties appealing the young generation equally.

In conclusion, there is no doubt that online entertainment is more fascinating these days but it does not help in promoting the norms and culture of a country as cinemas and theaters do. Consequently, there is a need of unique upgradation in cinemas and theaters that can attract the youth in future and flexibility of time should also be provided.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5

The response addresses both sides of the argument and provides a clear personal opinion in the conclusion. However, the development of ideas is somewhat uneven. The first paragraph focuses heavily on mobile phones rather than the broader concept of online entertainment, and the discussion on the economic and cultural importance of cinemas is a bit generic. To reach a higher band, you should provide more specific examples or deeper analysis regarding the economic impact (e.g., job creation, tourism) and cultural significance (e.g., community gathering, artistic preservation) of physical venues.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 7.0

The essay is logically organized into clear paragraphs, each with a central theme. Cohesive devices such as 'On one side', 'In addition to this', and 'Consequently' are used to guide the reader. However, some transitions feel slightly mechanical, and there are instances where the flow between sentences could be smoother. For example, the transition from discussing mobile phones to the decline of cinemas is a bit abrupt. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring that referencing is always precise would enhance the overall flow.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.5

You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'convenient', 'advancements', and 'flourish'. However, there are some inaccuracies in word choice and collocation, such as 'unique upgradation' (which is not standard English) and 'giving the old vibes'. The vocabulary is generally functional but lacks the precision and sophistication required for higher bands. To improve, focus on using more academic collocations and avoiding informal phrasing like 'old vibes' or 'all to all dependent'.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.5

The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are frequent grammatical errors, particularly with subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'mobile phones have made', 'mothers... has become', 'if they some programs does not appeal'). There are also minor punctuation and article usage issues. While these errors do not impede communication, they are frequent enough to prevent a higher score. Focusing on proofreading for basic agreement and tense consistency would significantly improve your accuracy.
