Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The essay addresses both sides of the argument and provides a clear personal opinion. However, the conclusion is incomplete, as the final sentence cuts off abruptly, which prevents a full development of the position. While the main ideas are relevant, the supporting arguments could be more thoroughly explored to reach a higher band. The response is generally on-topic, but the lack of a finished conclusion impacts the overall task achievement, as the final summary of the writer's position is missing.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5

The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is sometimes mechanical or repetitive, such as the frequent use of 'although' and 'because'. There are also issues with referencing; for example, the transition between the two main body paragraphs is somewhat abrupt. While the logical progression is generally clear, the lack of a completed concluding paragraph disrupts the overall flow and coherence of the final argument.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

The vocabulary is adequate for the task, but it lacks the precision and variety required for higher bands. There are several spelling errors, such as 'thesedays', 'uneccsarry', 'modren', and 'darama'. The range of vocabulary is somewhat limited, relying on basic terms like 'good quality' and 'many features'. To improve, you should focus on using more sophisticated collocations and ensuring accurate spelling of common academic terms.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede readability. Examples include subject-verb agreement issues ('those who advocates', 'those who maintains') and article usage errors ('a good quality of a movie', 'on theatres'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with comma placement. While the meaning is generally clear, the frequency of these errors suggests a need for more careful proofreading and a better grasp of basic grammatical rules.
