Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses both views and provides a clear personal opinion in the introduction. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. While you mention economic and cultural benefits, the points are often stated rather than fully explored or supported with deep analysis. For instance, the mention of 'cultural exchange' is a good point, but it remains brief. To reach a higher band, ensure that each point is expanded with more detailed reasoning or specific, well-explained examples. The conclusion is also quite brief and could better synthesize the arguments presented in the body paragraphs.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, and there is a clear progression of ideas. You use some cohesive devices such as 'Moreover', 'Furthermore', and 'In addition' to link sentences. However, some of these transitions feel mechanical or repetitive. Additionally, there are instances where referencing is slightly unclear, such as 'the later view is more important' (referring to the second view) and some awkward phrasing in the conclusion. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring smoother transitions between sentences would enhance the flow of the essay.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary used is generally adequate for the task, allowing you to convey your meaning clearly. You use some topic-specific terms like 'digital era', 'economically', and 'cultural exchange'. However, there are several instances of word-choice errors and awkward collocations, such as 'entertainment programmer' (should be 'entertainment programs'), 'commute to other place' (should be 'travel to other places'), and 'producer who has low budget film' (should be 'producers of low-budget films'). Expanding your range of vocabulary and focusing on accurate collocations will help you achieve a higher score.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
You demonstrate a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text. Examples include subject-verb agreement issues ('producer... they can release', 'it is help in exchange'), article usage ('the economy of one country'), and pluralization errors ('several low budget Hindi film'). These errors are noticeable but do not typically impede communication. To improve, focus on proofreading for basic grammatical accuracy, particularly with verb forms and plural nouns, and try to incorporate more varied complex sentence structures with greater precision.
