Student answer (Band 5.5)
People has contrasting opinions regarding whether an individual watch all the environment online or in a cinema hall.
While one school of thought advocates that everything a person want is available online, another contends that cinemas can not replace the online platforms. This essay will examine both the perspectives before explaining why I ultimately believe that theatres and cinema hall play a significant roll in all the possible factors.
On the one hand, proponents argue that in the fast pacing digital world watching a movie in theatre is not a worth as they can see the same from any device at any place. This argument primarily stems from the concern about the waste of money, as people often spend lot of money to watch the movie in a theatre. A clear example of this is that an individual can watch the movie at any corner of the world without depending on a big theatre screen without spending a fraction of money.
On the other hand, opponents maintain that watching a movie on a large screen gives you a perfect vibe of the scenes.
One major justification is that you would able to watch the movie with the whole focus without any distraction. Moreover, theatres and cinemas are equally crucial in the economic and the cultural aspect.
Having considered both view points . I am convinced that people should be encouraged more to watch movies theatre and cinemas because it leads to the indirect development in the economy sector.Although the opposing argument possess some merits ,it is ultimately outweigh by the the positive consequences of theatres.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The essay addresses both views and provides a clear personal opinion, meeting the requirements of the prompt. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. While you mention economic and cultural aspects, these points are not fully explained or supported with specific examples. For instance, you state that theatres lead to 'indirect development in the economy sector' but do not elaborate on how this occurs. To reach a higher band, ensure that each main idea is supported by a concrete explanation or a relevant example. The position is consistent throughout, but the depth of analysis needs to be increased to fully satisfy the requirements of the task.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, and there is a clear progression of ideas. You use some cohesive devices, such as 'On the one hand' and 'On the other hand,' to signal shifts in the argument. However, the use of these devices is sometimes mechanical, and there are instances where the flow is slightly disjointed, such as the abrupt transition in the final paragraph ('Having considered both view points . I am convinced'). Additionally, the referencing is occasionally unclear, and the punctuation around these devices needs improvement to ensure the text reads more naturally. Improving the variety and precision of your linking words will enhance the overall coherence.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary used is generally adequate for the task, allowing you to convey your meaning clearly. You attempt to use some topic-specific vocabulary like 'proponents,' 'opponents,' and 'digital age.' However, there are several word-choice errors and awkward collocations, such as 'fast pacing digital world' (should be 'fast-paced') and 'perfect vibe of the scenes.' Furthermore, there is some repetition of basic words like 'movie' and 'theatre.' To improve, focus on using more precise collocations and expanding your range of vocabulary to avoid repetitive phrasing. The errors present do not impede communication, but they do limit the sophistication of your writing.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
You demonstrate a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text. Examples include subject-verb agreement issues ('People has,' 'everything a person want'), missing articles ('in the economic and the cultural aspect'), and incorrect verb forms ('you would able to'). While these errors do not prevent the reader from understanding your main points, they are frequent enough to impact the overall fluency. To improve, pay closer attention to basic subject-verb agreement and article usage. Incorporating a wider variety of error-free complex sentences will help you move into a higher band.
